I enjoyed my stay at the red lion. The staff was really friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable while we complete was at the theater was a little too noisy in the room and the breakfast options could’ve been a little bit better.

We arrived at 3:30 and we needed a room on the ground floor because there is no elevator and we are 2 seniors who have a difficult time with carrying luggage up stairs. A room wasn’t clean so the front desk clerk attempted to contact housekeeping but couldn’t find them at first. Then when she did she asked that our room be a high priority. So the room was cleaned, but housekeeping didn’t inform the front desk until they were eventually contacted again and confirmed it was ready. So we waited over an hour for the room. The room was ok, but definitely dated as was the entire hotel.

For the price this is a great place to stay in Bellevue. Walked around after my stay, it’s a 20 minute walk to the Bellevue Square mall and a ton of restaurants

Worst hotel i ever stayed at in bellevue. They dont let you know about any addtional costs till you get their. So id recommend not to stay here especially because it smells like crap outside too. So on top of your room amount they charge up to $300

stain, slight peeled paint in bathroom, key cards and the locks on doors were delayed. Breakfast has basic food- but great for quick snack to-go. The staff is welcoming and nice. Gym is nice and clean. Pool was closed during my stay. I like the location if wanting to check out Bellevue or a short drive to downtown Seattle.

I have been coming to this hotel with my Japanese customer for stays in Bellevue over the last four years about every 6-8 weeks. My Japanese customers arrive in the morning after a 10 hour flight and most of the time have been able to check in early. This time the hotel charged us $75 to check in early. It seems a gouge if you have rooms ready, you are being charged $117 a night, then they charge you $75 for four hours. Plus taxes so $85+ to check in four hours early. I guess you get what you pay for, but this up charge on repeat customers was a bit much.
