About the home

“SilverTide Retreat” is a delightful double-storey family home on the beachfront in Silverleaves just metres from the water, and a short drive or comfortable walk from the Silverleaves general store. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is a teenage retreat (with piano & second fridge) that provides some additional space to spread out. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are all on this level, as well as the bathroom & laundry (with shower, washing machine & separate toilet). Upstairs is the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with smart TV) which provides access out to the rear deck, Bedroom 1 (with BIR), a bathroom (with shower & a separated toilet). There is also a small reading retreat upstairs.

Outdoor Areas

The incredible upstairs rear deck (with umbrella, table/chairs for 8 people & gas BBQ) provides 180 degree water views and external access from the deck leads directly to the sand of the gorgeous Silverleaves beach. The side & front of the property are enclosed and also feature a hot/cold outdoor shower & shower screen. There is parking for at least 4 vehicles on the property (cars and/or a boat - subject to the width of the front gate).

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, two fridges (one fridge/freezer in the kitchen, and a second fridge only downstairs), a dishwasher, two 600mm electric ovens and a cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, plus three additional stand-alone heaters which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed, one Set of Single bunks and one Single bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Queen bed and one Set of Single bunks

Please note there is another bedroom which is locked off and not for guest use.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
