- Heated pool October to April to 85. April to October average pool temp is 85-90 without the need of heater. During winter months if air temps drop below 50, any type/brand of pool heater will struggle to sustain 85. With weather being something we cannot control, we do not gaurantee pool temperatures. It is important to note we make every possible effort to keep pool to temp including running systems overnight at our own expense. we very seldom have issues maintaining the 85 but there could be an occurrence.

Two week stay

The pool, spa and location were excellent. There are some deferred maintenance issues on this property. The outdoor furniture is cheap and is not accurate in the pictures of the property. The property could use a nice outdoor table and chairs for outdoor dining. One other item is the need to install a hand rail to enter the pool.

Girls Weekend

The Flamingo House was perfect for our girls getaway! Its was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub everyday. Its was a short walk to the beach and the main area in Vilano. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful location and nice accommodation

The pool and hot tub was a hit for all of us (kids and adults). Walked the beach everyday (sometimes twice a day). Restaurants were so close, it was perfect. The openness in the kitchen and family room was great! And when we cooked some meals the dining room table was great. Also great for playing games!

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our weeklong family trip. The proximity to the beach, grocery store and local restaurants was ideal. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The wagon was great for walking to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet with well maintained homes.We used the pool and hot tub daily and there was plenty of seating in the lanai. I would recommend this listing and will be booking again.

Planning a trip back!!

This trip was bumpy due to some unforeseen issues however Tamera worked her magic and kept us happy and accommodated us!! I highly highly recommend Tamera as your host she was honestly hands down the best to deal with!!!!! The properties are gorgeous and the cleanest I think I’ve seen while vacationing! 10/10 recommend

Excellent Getaway for our entire family

This large home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving week in Florida. It’s so close to the beach. We loved having the wagon, sand chairs, and sand toys there for us to use. The kitchen was well very equipped for us to make our big Thanksgiving meal. Having the well maintained pool and hot tub was ideal. The owners responded right away to our question. As someone who rarely rights reviews , I would definitely recommend this property!

Wedding reunion

My wife and I and two of my kids along with their families we all able to see each other for the first time in many years. We were in St. Augustine for their cousin’s wedding. The house felt like home and we so much appreciated that. Being together after so many years was made so much easier than I had even imagined. Thank you.

Great property and service!

The stay was great. Super close to the beach. The house was so well equipped with all things kids - pack and play, high chair, cups/plates, toys, everything! The property manager was absolutely fantastic. She solved every issue we had as quickly as she could. We did the beach club which was maybe not exactly worth it because we only went once but that is no representation on the house. Overall everything was great!

June Fun

This house was clean and accurately described on VRBO. The property and house manager were very attentive to the little issues we had during our stay. The backyard pool and spa were a favorite of our family. We used that every day. The layout was perfect for a large family. The walk to the beach crosses a busy street but it isn’t far at all. We would definitely book again.

Amazing pool, great house! Family-friendly!

We loved our stay at the flamingo house!! The pool and hot tub were the highlight for sure. The pool was clean and a very comfortable temperature. The hot tub heated up nicely too and we enjoyed the lights at night. The fact that the area is enclosed is a huge plus, it kept all the bugs out and the pool clean. We could even sit outside and night and not get eaten alive! The house itself has a great open feel yet still has places to tuck yourself away from the group. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood park is nicely shaded and super close by if you are travelling with kids and need a break from the sun. The beach is very easy to get to, you just have to cross A1A which can get a little busy. I wish the Vilano area had a couple more restaurants or coffee shops/ice cream to make the property more walkable but that is the only drawback I can see to the area. We rented a golf cart and found it useful to haul kids and stuff to the beach but it otherwise didn’t serve much of a purpose other than a fun ride around the neighborhood. Overall a great stay and definitely very family-friendly. Host was super responsive throughout booking process and as I planned our trip! Thank you!

What an Amazing House

I was impressed with the house the minute we walked in the front door. The house is spacious, extremely clean and nicely decorated. It is a very comfortable house. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool area is amazing. The temperature of the pool and spa was perfect. We saw the pool man two times and he does a great job maintaining the pool. The proximity to the beach is great. The beach was not crowded at all. We loved the Vilano Beach area. We ate at several of the restaurants and shopped at Publix. It was so convenient. My daughter and her family stayed with us for one week. There was plenty of room for 7 people. They even walked to the park down the street and played basketball. We all loved the house. It was, by far, the best vacation rental we have been in. No problems at all. The first time we ever rented a home in Florida where we didn’t have to call the property manager.

Vilsno Beach House

Relaxing Weekend

My family and I really enjoyed our stay over a four day long weekend. It was very relaxing and the house was so accommodating to our family of six. We actually didn't even use the fourth bedroom. The heated pool was a nice touch and my kids enjoyed that very much. Definitely a spot we would come back again to stay at.

Family Adventure

Arriving during Tropical Storm Nicole, we didn’t know what to expect, but we found an amazing vacation retreat in which to ride out the storm. Wonderful accommodations for my wife and I, and our 5 adult children. Great communication with our host. Ideal location near the beach and St Augustine! We enjoyed every moment at the Pink Flamingo!

Hurricane

We loved our short stay was cut short by Hurricane. We were not concerned about house, it was the thought of flooding and not being able to get off island. House and manger were the best. Definitely would recommend and I want to go back
