I loved Hyatt Place Hotel in St. Augustine, FL. First thing that captivated me was the Modern decor. Everything from the stylish light fixtures, to the calming painted walls, to the vinyl plank flooring is eye catching. The beds are Comfy, The couches are sturdy, yet cozy. Even the desk chair is a cream plush leather that is smooth to to the touch. No old stuffy drapes at Hyatt Place St. Augustine, windows. Instead, double hung fine mesh shades on adjustable beaded pulls let in sun, or darken the room. Finally, an ultra modern glass enclosed shower, and extra tall vanity lie neatly tucked behind barn style doors. Did I mention the outdoor pool is heated to the perfect body temperature? Or that Every Staff Member--housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, valet, bar and restaurant services--I met was Genuinely Smiling and Attentative to guests needs?Indeed, Hyatt Place St Augustine, FL takes the Guest Experience to the Next Level. Definitely a 10 Star Hotel. Now I am left Wishing That My Every Hotel Stay could be at Hyatt Place St Augustine, Florida. Hyatt Place Forever!!

Our place to stay when you want to get away from it all! Great dining, great rooftop, awesome rooms...walkable to the beach but there is a golf cart service that you can take advantage of if you can't walk that far!

Definitely a wonderful option if you're staying in beautiful Vilano Beach. Clean , modern with a touch of Art Deco, Miami Style. Great hotel in many ways!

Wonderful beds, amazing staff. However, the breakfast price if $11 was steep for what many other hotels offer for free. Also, they have handicapped eooms at the far end of the hotel with inky one elevator above the lobby. We could hardly walk it!

I can say we really thought our stay at Hyatt Place in Vilano beach was very good. The room was clean and they put a microwave oven in the room for us upon request. We had just a short walk to the beach and having a Publix grocery store just across the street made it really convenient to pick up anything we needed. We actually bought two beach chairs because the ones we brought broke on us. The breakfast each morning was great even though you had to pay $11 per person it was well worth it to me just for the two or three cups of coffee I like to drink each day. The only negative thing we have to say about our hotel was the parking. Unless you pay for valet service which is $25 a day. If you are there during the busy season finding public parking nearby is difficult but we managed to always find a place to park without having to pay though we did have a long walk one evening and worried a little about our car being so far away. On Saturdays and Sundays when people are coming to Vilano beach public parking is very hard to find. We do recommend eating at Surfside which is a little diner across the street which had surprisingly good food. We found out Vilano beach has beautiful white sand but St. Augustine beach at least the part we saw which was near a long fishing pier was ugly grey looking sand. If you want an enjoyable hotel which is just a 5 minute drive from the old-town historical district you can't go wrong with Hyatt Place on Vilano beach.

We loved this hotel! It was super clean! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. The things we loved the most was how close it was to everything! We walked to Publix, the beach, the Beaches boat ride (highly recommend), dinner across the street and great coffee right across the street, as well. We gave our car to the valet on Sat. afternoon at about 3 pm and did not use the car until we checked out on Monday. The restaurant on the roof was a nice surprise as well. The front desk was very friendly. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. I believe they have transportation to St. Augustine and a golf cart ride to the beach. We didn't use either of these services. I have to add in the shower was fabulous. Excellent water pressure and it might have been the cleanest hotel shower I have ever been in. We were pleasantly surprised.
