The location is great right in the historic district. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room was somewhat dated, the chairs were worn although comfortable! A towel was dirty but they replaced it right away. The bed was comfortable. It’s overall a good value for its location.

We have stayed at this property several times and keep coming back and also recommended to others. Nice staff and easy check in always. Nice quiet location but within walking distance to everything. You never have to move your car to go to restaurants, attractions, shopping and nightlife. Definitely will go back again! Oh and great deck overlooking Lion's Bridge and Mantanza Bay and marina!

Nice place to stay to walk the historic district of St Augustine. Has a view of the Lions bridge and water. Parking at the Marion was good. Room was good, lots of hot water pressure in the bathroom. Quiet, didn't hear neighbors. Chairs in front of the room to enjoy the view.

Would have been great but….
This hotel would have gotten five stars, if not for a situation that arose from the fact that they had no security overnight. There were very noisy drunks just outside our door (their room was next door) making lots of noise from two to 4 o’clock in the morning. Our only options were an after hours number or the police. We chose the after-hours number, but never got any response. The next morning when we spoke to the clerk, he was very unsympathetic (we weren’t asking for a refund, just telling him the situation) and chastised us for not calling the police. I asked about the after-hours number and he just shrugged, said that went to the owner and kept referring to the fact that the paperwork says for security issues to call 911. It seemed like an abdication of all responsibility, and we were reluctant to call 911 for a non-emergency situation. It’s not the hotel’s fault that there were drunks next door, but why have an after-hours number if nothing happens when you call it? For that reason I would think twice about staying here.

Great inn. Clean, comfortable, updated rooms. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring the historic area and enjoying great food and drinks. Beautiful harbor views as well. 10/10.
