Stay was perfect! Location was great. A short walk to the busy downtown yet far enough away to have peace and quiet when we wanted it. The house is beautiful and cute! And a coffee shop was right across the street. Hosts had great communication. Had everything we needed with reasonable check out requirements. Loved it.
From booking to end of stay, communication with the owner was exceptional. Quickly responded, gave me additional information about the area, and checked in with me during our stay. The home is beautiful and bright. The beds very comfortable. The neighborhood very quiet but easy walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
The house was very clean and cozy. There is a coffee shop literally across the street very friendly. Me and my friends walked all of downtown since it was nearby.
This house was very nice and modern. It was neat, organized and well equipped. The back porch was a great place to sit and enjoy a breakfast sandwich and coffee from the cafe across the street. The hosts were pleasant, responsive and we had a great stay.
The home is beautiful and in an excellent location - very walkable to the historic district. Added bonus is the little coffee shop on the corner that had great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. House is immaculate and hosts were very responsive although there were no issues for them to resolve, just restaurant recommendations. One thing to note if you have dogs though - the backyard is not fenced all the way in and you will have to walk the dog.
What a nice place. No bedrooms downstairs, but fortunately we were able to do the stairs and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for the hospitality.
I had a wonderful jog and walk iinto old town everyday. The location is ver nice. We did have trouble with the main television and internet. But we had plenty of other things to do. Nice little coffee shop across the street!
This is a clean, stylish property with all the comforts and amenities needed - including parking spaces! Nice back deck for lounging. The Blue Hen Cafe is literally steps away for an excellent breakfast. You are very close to two of our favorite restaurants for dinner - St. Augustine Fish House, and the Ice Plant. Great location to walk into the historic downtown as well. But with all that is around you there is no need to battle the downtown crowd unless you just want to!
Beautiful home, but make sure all boxes check for your expectations, more details in review
This is a beautiful home, almost new, wonderful neighborhood, lovely amenities as a whole. Owner is very responsive and very much on top of things overall and they will do right by you in every way possible. The walk is very small into historic district and all the best St Augustine has to offer. Keep in mind, unlike I did, that this is a pet friendly home. This means there is residual smell and wear and tear visible from pet stay. My guess is that owner has pets and this is demographic of interest to owner. I completely understand and appreciate that if this is their preference and this is whom they cater to, then home stay would be ideal. This was not the case for me. I donât like pet smells, even less during vacation, but this was my oversight when booking. It was a learning experience and I will be more careful given the opportunity. If you are not used to overwhelming pet smells then think twice before booking. We enjoyed very much the outdoor area as well. There are some nice gathering spaces in this home for a small family or a couples getaway. Kitchen is fully stocked for making and enjoying meals and all baths are great with exception of water pressure being very low. The linens need improvement in quality and so do comfort of pillows. All in all itâs a lovely home to enjoy some great family time
Newer house easily walkable to all things St. Augustine has to offer. We loved our stay and have to say this was probably the best supplied kitchen and rental we have seen. We would absolutely rent again.
Heads up for renters the driveway is really meant for small cars. NO full size trucks we debated which vehicle to drive and our SUV was still tight parking sideways.
The yard is not fenced so anyone with dogs you have to have them leashed at all times out back. It would be great if the owner added a little gate on the side yard or back patio to keep children or dogs contained.
A few notes to the owner:
Overall the house was clean but the floors were unfortunately dirty from the start of our trip. Iâm not sure if the maid just ran out of time or what but I would follow-up that doesnât seem like your intent with how the house was furnished and outfitted.
Finishing the blinds throughout the house or at least bedroom level would also be appreciated.
We visited St. Augustine for a long weekend to see our daughter who is a sophomore at Flagler College. The house is fresh, new, very clean, modern with cute patios, parking an a great location. Perfect for our family king weekend! Loved it. Will be back.
Great location to ride bikes to downtown⊠itâs right across the road from a great breakfast place and a 3 min bike ride from the St Augustine Fish Camp! We even road our bikes to the amphitheater for Jason Isabelle concert without any difficulty. Would highly recommend!
We loved how close the house was to get around everywhere. Loved the walking across the street to the yummy breakfast cafe. House was clean and overall a fun stay for our family.
