Three stars is probably generous. The house is in a nice walkable location. Thatâs the only good thing I can say. The house has been furnished by Amazon furniture that is not holding up. Couch was sunkin, chairs were ripped and barstools wouldnât stay up. You really cannot sleep in this house between the lack of window treatments and the horrible light pollution coming from the street and the foam bed. The beds are drap. Iâm 150 pounds and sink so far into the bed itâs hard to roll over. And, foam beds are hot. So itâs hot and lit up like itâs daytime- not restful. And then letâs talk the lack of hot water. They have a tank that will hold up for one shower per hour. We had three of us. We were five days in before my 16 year old gave up and showered in the hall bath instead of the en-suite with some hot water. The owners have no lock on the front door so you have to walk around the back of the house to get into the unit. I wouldnât want to do this alone. Itâs not an unsafe neighborhood, but there are a good number of homeless on that side of town. The door doesnât lock properly- you need to push it in to get it to lock or unlock. Annoying. The signs threatening to charge for stained towels was not an acceptable touch considering there were three of us and we were allowed four towels and three hand towels for the week. Was it terrible? No. Was it worth the money and would we recommend a friend stay there? Also No.
