Summerhouse 128 - Newly renovated Oceanview 2 bedroom Flat

Our newly renovated condo is ready for you to come and enjoy your stay in beautiful St. Augustine! It is a two bedroom, two bathroom corner flat.The master bedroom has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has twin beds. The master bath has a fully tiled walk-in shower with shampoo niches and glass door. The guest bathroom has a tub with tiled walls and a shampoo niche. The living room features a 65 inch flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress and matching love seat. The sliding door in the living room leads directly to the center lawn and pool area. Just past the pool is the boardwalk to the beach. Both bedrooms have Berber carpeting, the kitchen and baths have ceramic tile and the rest of the unit has plank flooring for easy maintenance. The kitchen has ceiling height cabinets with under cabinet lighting, granite counter tops and all new stainless appliances. Plantation shutters on all windows and sliding glass door. Washer & dryer. At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

Another couple accompanied us-- stayed in a different unit-- and reported that their beds were awful as well. I had to sleep on the couch for the last three nights. Please buy new beds!

We did have an issue at check in that the condo had not been cleaned as it was supposed to have been. The twin bed sheets hadn't been changed and the guest bath hadn't been cleaned. They sent someone over to remedy the issue. I addressed this with summerhouse management and they assured me that they would address it.

Nice renovated condo

The condo was nice! All the furniture was new, comfortable and provided the comforts of home. The flooring was perfect for beach condo and easy to care for. Nicely tiled showers. We loved how private this section of the beach was even on a popular week in the summer! The grounds are immaculate! The only negative of unit 128 was the we could hear every sound from the upstairs unit. The family above us had 2 young children and we were woken up very early each day by the pitterpatting of feet! If you want do not want to hear thumps and walking, rent the 2nd floor units. Overall, we loved the area and the beach!
