The check-in was professional and helpful. The room was terrific. I messaged my wife that per dollar spent, this is the best hotel that I've stayed in all year! The cleanliness and the comfort, the amenities of coffee, fridge, set up of chair, desk, tv, bathroom shower supplies ~ it was terrific! As a coffee-lover, I really appreciated being able to make myself coffee even during hours when the kitchen was not open. I also truly appreciated the excellent breakfasts at Wyndham/AmericInn of St. Cloud, too! Highly recommend this hotel to all!

Check-in was the start, got put in a room stuffed with furniture storage so needed to get into another. The new rrom was vacuumed and sheets changed but that was the extent of cleaning. All tables and counters were simply wiped, leaving behind food, coffee spots and god only knows what in the bathroom. The bath sink, tub and floor were very dirty and had tons of black curly hairs everywhere. The toilet had paper and waste in it. I needed to clean before we could settle in. Ice machine was broke and halls had baskets of tools, & stuff everywhere. Pool area needs updating, hot tub was cool and jets don't work and pool felt like a hot tub. Picked because of drive & health i needed a hot tub to help. Was in town for a funeral so the option of putzing with changing rooms or even hotels (I would have) was not an option. I could not recommend nor would I consider staying here again. Honestly, reimbursment would be in order.

The good, the bad, the ugly. The bed was the good, or better yet the great! That mattress was so comfortable all the pain in my body left. The bad was the animal hair. Even though my room supposedly was a non-animal room, when I used the iron, there was a lot of animal hair transferred to my clothes. The ugly, oh boy, the food was a different kind of “don’t eat that”. I am familiar with hotel breakfast but I could just see the intestinal problems that food was going to cause. Another ugly was the ironing board had dried food on it like someone had used it as a table to eat on, gross. The bathroom was small but I can get past that. Overall the room wasn’t the newest or most updated. I am picky and bougie so I would not normally ever go back to a hotel like this. The ONLY thing that will get me back (potentially) is the mattress. When I tell you all the pain in my body disappeared (and I take meds for the pain) I am telling you, it was heaven. So much so that my daughter and I chose to stay in the beds and chill rather than go sight-seeing. The beds redeem the rest of the mess this hotel is. If you can look past the rest of it the I recommend this budget friendly hotel. As for me, I will be looking at the more upscale version of the Wyndham Resorts.

Not sure how it is Wyndham affiliated! The lighting was terrible. Dark room and dull lighting over the sink. The wind howled through the window all damn night, that was not conducive to a good nights sleep. By the time we got to breakfast, all the hot food was gone. We waited 30 minutes to get warm (uncooked) meat, and eggs. With weekly trips to this area the next 4 months, we’ll never stay here again!

They put a new chair in my room during my stay. The chair is way too big for the space and would not allow me to get into the bed on the left side without running into it. I re arranged the room so that when I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I would not run into it. The staff was fine. I just really question why they would choose to update furniture with something that does not fit!

The lady at the front desk was pleasant and friendly but had a lot of trouble with her computer when dealing with our reservation. Despite the hotel having several floors, there was only one ice machine (first floor) which was out of order. :( The pillows on the bed smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I don't know if they had been washed or not, but ICK! The breakfast was good!

The hotel has a strong cleaner smell that seems to cover an old smoking-room odor. Carpets and bathrooms are dated and could be cleaner. The beds are comfortable with good pillows, though the overall atmosphere isn’t very relaxing. Staff are friendly, and recent updates like fresh paint and new trim are noticeable, but more extensive improvements would help.

The toilet barely flushed, the hot water lever was broken - so we couldn't get hot water. The ice machine was broken, one treadmill was broken and the other needed service because is squeaked so loud, there was water all over the floor from the broken ice machine, the elevator seemed like it would get stuck and the beds were sloped in from too much use. Overall it was very unpleasant.

False advertising…Advertised hot tub and pool with the room and the hot tub was broken….No bubbles!!! The manager told me well….It’s not broken…it’s hot water…. Seriously! Definition of a hot tub is hot, aerated water!!! literally booked a place to sit in a hot tube for my bad back… next time I’ll definitely be going to the Holiday Inn!

When we went to check in, we were told that we didn't have a reservation at this AmericInn. We then traveled the 6 miles to the other Americinn only to be told that we we didn't have a reservation at that hotel. We then called the first one and were told we did have a reservation so had to travel back. The hotel needed some updating but overall was a decent place to stay.
