Close to town, cute room. Could be very nice but carpet was not clean, webs in the windows, no frig, not enough outlets, and one sliver of homemade soup when we checked in. (it was great).

The Inn is comfortable, clean, well located and has a magnificent porch for loitering and for the good continental breakfast. They have three room categories ranging from standard to luxurious. We chose standard, which is plenty expensive for me, and got room 5, which is small and underfurnished. Specifically, it lacked a closet and chest of drawers, so we never got out of our suitcases. All in all a good but overpriced place to stay in a very pleasant town. (Montpelier is blessed with a fine independent book store - the kind becoming scarcer all the time.)
