My mother, 2 month old, and I were caught in the WV foggy mtns and needed to stop for the night. We called ahead and the desk agent was the kindest, most amazing human. Truly so sweet and helpful. We had to check in around 2am and he made it seamless and so easy.
The room was neat and decent, exactly what we needed to be able to finish our 12 hour commute home the next am.
The true above and beyond excellent customer service and kindness came in this morning when I received a phone call from the front desk informing me of what I already knew. I had left my colostrum and breastmilk in the freezer. Unfortunately, I had already made it back home and there was no way to retrieve it. They offered to ship it if I could find a way to acquire dry ice for them to mail it to me. Ultimately, I decided to discard it, as there are so many other things going on and I had already accepted this tough loss. Their thoughtfulness and attempts to rectify this,
noting how important and difficult this is for a breastfeeding mother was so touching to me. I cannot convey the deep appreciation I have for the humans that I interacted with at this hotel. 100/10 for customer service and kindness! Thank you all so much for your hospitality during such a stressful time for us!
