The overnight experience was awesome! The views were amazing from various angles on the property and including the zoo. Lots of walking, tennis shoes will take you further than a sandal. The ferry at the bottom of the hill, will take less than 10mins to the Opera House and bridge. If your hoping to see a koala bear from your room, you need to be staying in a room with eucalyptus trees. The restaurant on the property had a limited and pricey menu. The night time experience at the zoo was unimpressive, with not one animal seen except an alligator in his tank with a red flashlight shined on it. Maybe the last night tour should be done before actual darkness for safety walking around in the dark and catching the animals before they retreat to their enclosures. Overall, coming from the USA and spending the night was a treat!!

……if your hoping to see a koala bear outside your window, you need to be on the eucalyptus tree side. They rest there, not just any tree!

We were travelling with a 6-year old and it's an amazing experience! Loved the room which is spacious and clean, also the Sanctuary tour, staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The package included entries to the zoo via a special entrance on both the day we checked in and out. Me Gal was wonderful too, will sure be back.

Unforgettable Wildlife Experience
An incredible wildlife experience! We had Thunder the Koala right outside our bedroom window entertaining us! Loved the walk through the zoo after closing time too. Fantastic views from the restaurant & delicious food. An all round fantastic experience that will live long in our memories :)
