Close to nightlife and beach

Overall hotel was ok, except the room window have no screen so nice breeze thru window but had over 50 flies in room. Had to kill with my pillow case they didnt have fly swatters or safe spray. No air-conditioning so couldn't close window. Not enough enclosed parking when full. Nice view, staff.

First off the staff was wonderful and friendly. The hotel and our room was run down. Our walls where dirty. Our shower ceiling was pealing off and the shower knobs fell off. Water was cold. We had no Iron, blow dryer or phone. The only good thing, it was close to the beach and not to far from everything. Upon checking out we did not receive our speed pass for the border. We was told they did not receive them. So we had a 6 hour wait at the border. Not good!

My husband and I travel quite often and had never left a bad review on a hotel but this one, deserves it! First of all, my reservation confirmation said check in was at 1pm, we arrived at about 2pm and the lady that helps us at the front desk took my name, wrote it on a list, and told me to wait in the lobby while they call me to check in! I was like what? Wait for my name to be called?? Yes! So I waited, half an hour passed by and only one other couple had checked in and there was probably 5 people ahead of me still. At that point, I asked the gentleman who was checking people in how much longer my wait was going to be and he said " I cannot give you a time frame, as we are checking people in as the rooms are being cleaned out. Who does that when the rooms should have been ready since 1pm and it was already 3pm by that time. The line for the "waiting list" kept getting longer and longer and everyone was upset saying they have never had to wait so much to get checked in to a room. Fast forward to an hour, and I was finally checked in (2 hours after my arrival and waiting in the lobby where not enough seats were available for the amount of people waiting). No outside alcohol is allowed inside the hotel. The security guards were rude and turning everyone away with their drinks (what a joke being in Rosarito and how dirty the hotel was). We needed an iron and they didnt have one! Everything was horrble about our stay. We didn't even attempt to try the "free breakfast" there.

Dilapidated, dirty, old building.

Pros: In Rosarito
Cons: Customer service and amenities.
Location: Shopping, sunbathing at the beach
Dilapidated, dirty, old building with questionable staff at best. One building over from the beach. Partial view of the Ocean from the north face over the building with a full view of the slums of Rosarito. Wi-Fi in the lobby area only(maybe). Building and rooms have no Air Conditioning, room phone line do not work/ no service, no hair dryer, no Iron, dimly lit rooms, bedding old and questionable at best if cleaned or swapped after every occupancy. Staff (hard to tell who is who since they don’t have uniforms) open rooms at random without announcing. Hot water is a commodity (first use, first serve. No extra latch or locks on door, locks and unlocks from the outside. For price per night, you would think it would be at least as comfortable as a roadside motel, doesn’t rate any star hotel in my opinion.

Pictures Lie!!!

First of all the front desk person was rude. The elevator didn't work properly. The hall ways were very dirty and the rooms as well the sheets were dirty. The windows didn't close properly. You could hear the wind coming in all night it was raining and as you could imagine very cold all night. Wouldn't recommend. Yes

Good location, creepy rooms

Even though the hotel was located in a nice and convenient area, the rooms reminded me of a hostel. Fourth floor was really creepy and we got a wave of "bad energy." The staff has great hospitality thought.

Not good

We got stuck in the elevator when we first arrived. I had to open the elevator by hand.. Also the second elevator down button didnt work .. You have to push the going up button on the elevator to open the doors to go down. Also . we asked for a remote control for the tv .. We never got one. Also , bathtub was dirty upon arrival. No heatiing system in the rooms or Ac unit. Its says casino corona hotel but theirs no casino thats false advertising. Casino doesnt exist in the hotel . no hand rails for the stairs either.. I work myself for a hotel and we have extremely high standards at the hotel i work at... Im suprised the corona hotel isnt shut down. I highly do not recommend this hotel.
