Disappointing
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The property is nice, however not represented the cost. The bed was really comfortable, the breakfast was good and the bar on the top floor is excellent. However, there are areas of the hotel (pool and lounge) that some guests are not permitted to use, that are advertised but not provided upon stay. The building has a ventilation problem, which make the rooms become very humid, especially when using the bathroom/shower. The hotel has tried to solve this with a dehumidifier, which is not suitable. It must be said that the rooms are dated, which does not make the luxury feel luxurious. Nice place, not worth the price.

To be honest, I have been a long-time supporter of the Cerulean Tokyo Tower Hotel for at least two decades. However, during my recent stay, particularly after the pandemic, I was disappointed to find that the hotel was understaffed, resulting in a decline in service quality and an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. One of the areas where I noticed a significant issue was with the maitre d at the coffee shop. Unfortunately, she was unfriendly and rarely smiled, except when interacting with Caucasians and Japanese guests. This behavior made me feel excluded and uncomfortable during my dining experience. Another concern I had was the deterioration of the English language proficiency among the hotel staff. This made communication quite challenging, and I found myself relying heavily on Google Translate throughout my stay. It was surprising and disappointing to encounter such a decline in language skills, especially considering the hotel's reputation and the international nature of its clientele. Overall, my recent experience at the Cerulean Tokyo Tower Hotel fell short of my expectations. The understaffing, inhospitable service, and language barriers made for an unpleasant stay. As a long-time proponent of the hotel, I hope that these issues can be addressed to restore the high standards I once admired.

This property was perfect for our first time in Japan. There were so many things to do in our area with shopping and dining minutes away. The Shibuya station was very convenient and was able to travel to different areas very easily. I would love to come back to Japan and stay here again. Staff was very nice and professional and I did not have a hard time communicating with them in English. They were helpful with questions I had. The housekeeping was wonderful. They gave us a large water every day for our room and restocked every essential we needed daily.

Always a great stay
This is my go-to hotel in Tokyo as it is right in Shibuya and everything is a short walk or cab ride away. Service and cleanliness has always been perfect. Staff are pleasant to talk to. The executive lounge has an amazing view of the city which goes perfectly with a morning cup of coffee. Will be continuing to stay at this location for all future Tokyo stays.
