The room was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful even though I speak no Japanese, the breakfast was delicious, the hotel is beautiful. The location could not have been better, 5 minute walk from the subway and centrally located. It was so quiet and peaceful. I will stay here again.

It was a charming hotel with Japanese garden and a tea room present on multiple floors beside the ground level. The room we stayed in was on a cozier side, but it was clean (equipped with an air cleaner monitoring the cleanliness of the air), functional. and comfortable . We didn’t hear any sound coming from adjacent rooms, which was good. We enjoyed the Japanese restaurant on the first floor, Yukuri, throughout our one-week stay though the other French restaurant was also very good. The dinner set on New Year’s Eve including Toshi-Koshi Soba and the Osechi & Ozoni breakfast set on New Year’s Day were exquisite.Especially, Osechi & Ozoni set was so artistically beautiful that we were almost hesitant to eat it!
