My third time staying at Prince Hotel N Tower and it’s always been a great experience. Conveniently located next to Shinagawa station which is great for day trips around Tokyo. Will be back for sure!

Family vacation

Hotel room is definitely a little dated and lots of wear and tear. Staffs friendly. Breakfast buffet is "ok". Room size is "ok" if you are staying as 2 adults. They accommodated us with our teens with extra bed but definitely make the room very cramp. It's doable to have 4 adults in a room but not recommended. Positive is definitely the proximity to Shinagawa stations. Few restaurants, pharmacy, 7-11 and 100 yen store right next door.

The staff at the bar was horrible to the three women in my group. A group of men who came in after us was immediately served at THEIR TABLE. I had to go to the bar counter three times to place an order. Then I waited until the men were served twice before our drinks arrived. Horrible treatment.

Dated and extremely small rooms

We asked to be moved from N Tower after 1 night as the rooms were so tiny there was nowhere to store your luggage or to unpack. You have to step up into the tiny bathroom which was a trip hazard. There was always a worry on exiting the bathroom that steam from your shower would trigger the fire alarm. The bathroom was really compact like you were on a ferry. The 2nd room which we paid extra for in the main tower was more spacious however rooms were both very dated and tired looking with stained carpets. Not sure how this place is rated 4 star

Located close to major transportation hub with JR and Shinkansen services. Good quality breakfast was available. Nice to have access to the business lounge for a complimentary afternoon beverage. Room and hallway appeared well maintained (or recently refurbished) but room was very small for two adult occupants with two small suitcases.
