"I have been to Memphis many times and never knew of this GEM of a location. WoW! Unlike other hotel chains, Hilton is known for taking something that what was and transforming it into splendor- and that is Central Station. I intend to return just to marvel in the hotel’s ambiance and beauty. "

"It’s always clean and staff was friendly… we couldn’t park because our truck was too tall but we parked down the street in a pay to park spot . Over all our trip was good .. walking distance to everything we did downtown "

"So, let’s start with the area. Directly across from the Redbirds stadium. Super convenient and perfectly safe while we were out. Not sure about after 10pm, but possibly fine. Union & King was a phenomenal restaurant, with possibly the best french fries I’ve ever had. Just couldn’t eat much so the rest went to waste after taking the to go box. The hotel is a little older and shows its age in some carpet stains and some other visual areas. The staff made up for it by being attentive and friendly. I asked for them to place a DND sign outside before we went out, and they said they would get housekeeping to take care of it. While we came back to no sign, they clearly did not clean, which makes me think she meant she would make sure housekeeping knew not to go in. Regardless, everything was great. All in all, I would go back as long as the rates stay comparable. "
