Spacious and fantastic lake views

Great location, short walk down to Tremezzo lake front and ferry point. No 11 apartment is comfortable and spacious and has amazing views over the lake from its balcony. Helpful and friendly host.

Great view in Tremezzo

We were 5 adults and stayed for a week. We also had other family members in the unit next to us. Our unit has a huge wrap around balcony with fantastic views. The onsite host was Matteo, not Julie who is listed as the owner. Matteo was very friendly and easy to reach on his phone. He greeted us in person and explained the basics of the apartment. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and there was plenty of parking for our 2 rental cars. There is a steep cobble stone path down to the lakeside restaurants which we used a few times since parking by the lakeside is sometimes difficult to find. Going down is manageable but hiking back up took some effort and required stopping a few times to catch our breath. Overall we had a very nice stay but I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because some things could be improved. The kitchen is equipped somewhat sparsely. The coffee maker is an old metal drip unit instead of the more modern Nespresso machines found at other VRBOs. Between our two units we only had one wine opener. You need to bring your own toilet paper because there were no extra rolls. Same goes for paper towels. There was one bottle of soap in the bathroom with no extra for the shower. There are no shelves in the shower so everything has to go on the floor. The beds were sagging some and squeaky. The one safe in the front bedroom was locked and could not be used for 2 days.

Vakantie aan het Como meer

De woning is fantastisch, ondanks dat de inrichting misschien wat gedateerd is. De plek en uitzicht is zo waanzinnig mooi. Je waant je echt in een ansichtkaart. Tip is wel dat op loop afstand ( je moet goed te been zijn, het is heel erg stijl en onhandig) wel restaurantjes zijn maar deze vonden wij niet echt gezellig. Dit komt misschien door de Corona tijd. We hebben met de auto en met een gehuurde boot erg mooie en gezellige stadjes bezocht. We komen zeker terug naar het Como meer. En ook naar deze locatie. Het is een absolute aanrader....Wij zaten in app 11 daar zie je de zon opkomen en kijk je over het meer echt zo prachtig, je kan gewoon niet stoppen met kijken zo mooi.
