Kandarpa provided a beautiful and peaceful place to stay during our time in Bali. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and there was plenty to do in the area. They were also happy to help arrange day trips or other activities for us to do while we were there. The place itself is simple, peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing!!!

I went to Ubud solo and stayed for 4 days. All the hotel staff were really nice and helpful, as well as the cute dog! The grounds are well kept and the rooms are very spacious

Great location and amazing staff

Lovely little hotel tucked away from the busy Ubud streets. The best thing about the hotel is their staff – super attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They really go above and beyond! The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice, but the dinner options were a bit bland. Airport transfer was smooth and easy and laundry service was great. I'd say the pictures are reflective of the actual hotel, room and surroundings, only thing is that it's a bit dated in places. I would have given it 5 stars, however, I had some issues with humidity in my room, so it (and my belongings) felt damp and had a smell to it which wasn't nice. The walls are also thin so you hear your neighbours. Because of the close proximity of the pool, it it can sometime get a bit loud and noisy. They're also building a new hotel nearby so there's construction noise too during the day. The road to the hotel is not at all maintained, and if it had been raining, which was most days, it would be muddy with puddles of water everywhere. Also, with absolutely no light to guide you at night it could feel a bit unpleasant, so just something to consider. I had one tour company who said they couldn't find the hotel at first. All in all, the staff made it all worth it, and it's a super cute little hotel, so I'd most definitely stay here again in the future!

Fantastic Hotel with excellent facilities! The pool and restaurant are lovely. 20 minute walk into town, close enough to walk but far enough away for it to be peaceful. Arum and Kurisma (sorry if we've spelt these wrong!) We're just brilliant throughout our 10 night stay, always smiling and super friendly. Would stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So the pool is beautiful, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. The only issue that I have with this property is that the view from the pool doesn’t match the reality, as the website shows a pool surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The reality—as is much the case in Bali—is that several months ago a competitor drained the rice fields and has started construction of another hotel.. so now your view is of a wooden fence, which blocks the construction of their neighbor’s property Still, the pool is awesome, and with a little work on the fence (a more permanent rock wall/ fountain feature comes to mind) this place would be absolutely fabulous.

Good and comfy little hotel. Room was comfortable. Pool is nice. But the road to get to the hotel is very bad. It's unpaved and hidden. Some taxis can't even find it. It's not really walkable.

The property and the room were nice. It is a small 20 unit hotel, and the staff was really accommodating. The bed was comfy. Couple of things to note: the pictures of the area behind the pool aren’t accurate. There are building another structure and it is rough. Also the road access to the hotel is dark and bumpy. This isn’t under the hotel’s control but worth mentioning. The location is ok, a few minutes walk to Ubud centre, restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay.

Kendarpa hotel is wonderful. The pool is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious and ours had an amazing view of the pool. The hotel is located away from all the noise and in walking distance to a tranquil restaurant with beautiful views of the rice fields and a great food & drink menu, to enjoy your afternoon. You can also walk to a very beautiful Warung which is located next to the property. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. I ordered a daily papaya juice to my room while I was reading on the balcony overlooking the sunset. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Thank you!!

This is a really special place, the photos don't quite do it justice. The location is great, it feels like a sanctuary, just a bit set back from the main road and a short walk to the centre of Ubud (we rented a motorbike from the hotel to explore). The staff were great and the breakfast was delicious. I'd love to come back here again.

Nice hotel away from busy Ubud

The hotel is nicely situated in a calm area with rice fiel view. But in walking distance from Ubud center. It is modern and clean. Great breakfast choice including smoothie bowls. Great pool to relax. Only little complaint is the housekeeping. After a customer departure they start cleaning the room without maybe thinking that it is still early and people in the next room are still sleeping. Very loud voices and moving of the furniture. Really bad start in the day
