"Host had everything ready beginning with an online welcome packet, linens and towels with easy access, extra throw blankets in the living room. Plenty of chairs so our family could enjoy family meals at one table. Kitchen was well organized. Enough dishes, cutlery, equipment, etc. so easy to prepare meals and clean up after. We were able to walk in, unpack, sit back and relax. Looking out the windows at the snowy woods, playing games, etc. a truly relaxing weekend for us. "The bear cave was everything we hoped and dreamed of. We stayed in January, and absolutely loved the snowy woods and the short hike to the lake from the property. The cabin itself is beyond cute, very comfortable and well laid out, and full of fun features like the electric fire/heater, games, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of cozy places to hang out. We came for the woods and it did not disappoint. "

"Spacious home. Good communication with owner. Path thru woods led to beautiful beach. There is a rope at the end of path to get down to the beach. The other option is the dune, which some in our group enjoyed. Loved loved loved the large screen in porch! My favorite part! "
