Great location. Heating was on a lot and couldn't work out the AC, but cracking the window sorted that. Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is magnificent, located in the center of Venice. All restaurants within walking distance. A few steps from the main square of St. Mark. Great breakfasts with great views of the canal. Thanks for the best vacation week. Will definitely be back and will always recommend to friends.

Great location, just off St. Mark’s Square and also really close to the water taxi from/to the airport. This hotel is basically rooms with a Concierge desk tucked away to the side. No additional ‘facilities’. It’s situated over a clothing store - but it works well as, obviously, it’s all just footfall passing beneath and not revving vehicles of course. Check in and out is at the large hotel just around a few corners. But most of the above is described on line anyway. We thought we’d get used to our mattresses but found them a combination of too firm and too springy - neither of us got one full night’s sleep out of the four The room was generally very clean, apart from a few details in the bathroom - e.g. the phone, basin overflow and hairdryer would benefit from some attention. The room had good tea/coffee facilities, crockery and cutlery so we bought in enough breakfast products locally to get us started in the mornings and ate out the rest of the time. Overall we were pleased with our choice of accommodation and we had an excellent Venetian break.

FAB Location, comfy beds, great AC and large bath

This hotel is in a prime location and easy drop off from the water taxi from the airport. Parent hotel is Hotel Monaco. Comfortable beds, great AC and bathroom large.

Great stay

Excellent location next to St Marco Sq. Front office guy was very helpful. Access to its grander sister hotel Monaco’s nice lobby and dining facilities, which is right on the waterfront beside San Marco ferry station, was very useful. Do wake up early to catch sunrise at San Marco sq beside the hotel, and you will have the whole square to yourself !

Don't even think about it

I was put into an annex of the hotel. The entrance was thru the basement and although the hotel had an elevator, the annex did not. The first room looked into the public toilet area. The only other room they said they had was two flights up, but I took it. The T.V. did not work the first two days, the air condition would only blow cold air and took two days to fix, the furniture was hipped in several places, the faucets in the bathroom sink had only a bare dribble of hot water so had to use the shower faucet for hot water. When I checked out and called to have a porter for my luggage, no one answered so I carried it down two flights of stairs myself. This hotel is owned by the Monaco and Grand Canal, so I expected much better. I wonder if I received this treatment because I used a book service rather than booking direct with the hotel.

Hard to find, but gem of a spot. Clean and comfy!

Please please include good directions to the hotel. I walked around San Marco square and looking for numbers down several streets before I found it. Would have otherwise been a perfect experience!

The location of the property is great. Close to St. Marks Basillica. The room that i was given was larger then what i expected , no complaints. One thing that was suprising was the breakfast was quoted at Eur 25.00 which I though was expensive. Does not have much facilities but given I was there to see Venice it was great.
