I was a bit nervous about this stay because of the complaints about noise, cleanliness and service from the staff. My stay was great. Staff were polite, room was clean although a bit worn - I think the dark colors make the room look dirtier than it actually is. There were no noise issues for me but I was at the back of the hotel in 308 and heard no noise even though they were blasting music at the front of the hotel, so if you get rooms closer to the grand canal, it could be an issue. Otherwise, it was an uneventful stay - just the way I like it.

Great location near Rialto Bridge. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. 10 minute walk to St. Marks Square. The receptionist, Carolina, was wonderful and provided us with great suggestions for dining and sightseeing.

We stayed two nights in a room facing the canal. I enjoyed being able to look at the canal and all the activities happening. Music at restaurants below started at 7 nightly and ended at 11. It was on the noisy side but not awful. Room was small as was bathroom. A little older. Not sure it was worth what I paid; however staff was great. And it was a very convenient location to lots of food and shopping options. Breakfast was good.

Perfect spot to enjoy Venice! Lovely room and facilities and right on the canal. Beautiful view of the main bridge from the breakfast room balcony! Definitely recommend!

The hotel can be described as shabby chic. Our room was very large with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had terrible lighting and the shower tray was extremely slippery. All this was made up by the good position for exploring Venice and the first class and very helpful front of house staff.

The staff never returned emails to schedule a water taxi and therefore we had to carry our luggage through Venice. Someone in our party was injured so that made for a very difficult trek. Requested ice Breakfast was nice and the staff was good.

I loved everything about this property. The staff was so helpful and responsive to all emails and questions. They set up all my transportation. Hotel was in perfect location restaurants just outside were amazing. I highly recommend this property.

Our stay was lovely . Room 302, is very large with windows that open directly on to the canal with stunning views. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend!
