This is my second time staying at the Hilton, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected especially from such a reputable brand. I understand it’s peak summer season, but that shouldn’t justify poor guest service or lack of attention to detail. The pool was closed again, which was a major disappointment considering it was one of the main reasons my friends and I chose Hilton. When I asked for even a one-hour late checkout, the front desk staff refused without consideration. I also accidentally left my medication in the room’s fridge, and they claimed they couldn’t find it raising serious concerns about how guest belongings are handled. Our “canal view” room, which is supposed to be one of the nicer modern options, had a clogged shower and dusty floors. For the price and the brand name, this was a very underwhelming and frustrating stay. I’m genuinely disappointed and will think twice before booking with Hilton again.

Poor service. Went on vacation and there’s no ac during summer time. Hotel is far from everything so it’s inconvenient if you want to stay in centre of Venice. They offer a shuttle service at a fee but it’s on a schedule and you have to wait a while.

It was acceptable

I stayed in a suite and though it was large, it was very stark. There was only one picture in both rooms. I thought it used to have more decoration. The executive lounge is in a weird area, and during peak times you cannot find a place to sit, it’s too small. I did like the boat shuttle to get to San Marco, it was very convenient. Lots of choice for breakfast so that was ok.

Highly overpriced for what you get. No complimentary water provided in the room and upon asking we were told that they only provide one complimentary water bottle on the first day and we didnt even receive that. For this price and 5 star hotel, you would expect that atleast a small water bottle will be given complimentary in the room specially when the hotel location is away from main town centre area and we couldn't find any supermarket nearby either to purchase bottled water.

Great hotel to stay in , they have a water shuttle that runs often so you can visit the other side. The breakfast and happy hour are a nice addition. There are some great places to eat nearby as well. Rooftop bar is nice but the pours are really weak and the price point high compared to other nearby places.
