This historic gem is definitely a GEM! Our family has 6 adults and 2 grandchildren (7-10) and the number of beds/rooms worked perfectly for us. Beds are very comfortable with good mattresses and comfortable bedding. The back patio area was lovely with plenty of seating and access to the back parking area where the guys could throw a football around, then come warm up by the fire pit on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Christmas cookies with lots of counter space and tools for baking/cooking. A very generous supply with the coffee pods, tea and creamers (which were really appreciated for making morning coffee) as well as paper towels, spices, tp, etc. Easy communication with the hosts kept everything flowing smoothly. The location was great. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, about a block from King St. which was beautiful with the Christmas lights and decorations. It was truly magical. The only thing that could have made it better would have been snow! We would definitely stay at this immaculate, comfortable, well-appointed property again.
