"My room was clean but very basic, I guess you get what you pay for. Staff were very helpful and provided hot water for tea in the morning even though I hadn’t booked breakfast, which incidentally was very expensive. Free parking to the rear and rear access made unloading very easy. The decor was a little tired and carpet look like it had had its own battle of Waterloo! Talking of which, Waterloo, is a very smart and has an air to it that is very pleasant. I only managed to ride through it but will return to walk through and visit the museum, shut on Mondays. I visited the Waterloo battle site and museum there….truly worth going to, it is excellent. "

"Very nice hotel, the rooms were a tad small and a little outdated, but it was such a wonderful location and the staff was great, so it that made up for it. Plus if you are there to sightsee and enjoy the surrounding areas, it is exactly what you need. We were able to check in early too which was awesome. The beds were very comfortable. Felt very safe too."

"The hotel is old. The view is terrific. All the windows were dirty and that was a pity for the view. Breakfast was amazing on the 24th floor. "
