Room appeared to have recent drywall work done and there was spackle on the tv and some of the bathroom level surfaces had a layer of dust / debris. Spare TP roll had obviously gotten wet and left to sit as it had discolored. Significantly signs of water damage to the bathroom floor (while unsightly- functionally there was no impact). The sheets while fresh smelling did have grit or something on them - guessing drywall work.

I logged into hotels.com and listed Elko Nevada. I selected the second hotel which was Motel6. I walked into the hotel but when she didn’t get the reservation in 5 minutes we looked at it. It was booked in Wells, Nv. I called the wells hotel 5 times but no answer. The Elko hotel clerk called them and no answer. So I called Hotels.com and they called them too…NO ANSWER!!! So I booked the Elko Motel6 but I could see that Hotels,com had incorrectly listed the Wells hotel there twice and didn’t have the Elko one. What a hassle!! Hotels.com is working it to get the refund. Nikki at the Elko hotel was great. We tried to call the Motel6 again later with the same result in The evening and still no answer.

They gave me a wheelchair room and the floor was still wet in the bathroom. It was late and I was exhausted so I didn't start changing rooms since I already had brought my stuff in. Also the towels were like sandpaper. Paint peeling off the walls.

Great to take a break.

Great place to take a break! No problem with our 2 service dogs. It's been warm and comfortable stay. They are working hard on upgrading the property and every time we come thru they have a little more done.

The key card given to me didn't work. I had to go down to the reception three times to report the issue. I tried calling the reception to let them know, but no one answered. It was already around 11 PM, and it was cold. I expected a staff member would check on it. On my fourth trip down, the elderly staff member told me to use the master key but instructed me to return it to him personally, as he would be held responsible otherwise. The room was not clean and had a bad smell. The AC was making a disturbing noise, and the sink was leaking. There was a dead fly on the floor, and I doubt the bedding was clean. We were also missing towels and toiletries. The elderly staff member said he couldn't provide more and would ask about it the next day. I don't recommend this place, especially for families with kids. While it's affordable, basic cleanliness standards should be met. I like how it is close to a gas station and McDonalds for a quick breakfast before hitting the road again.

Don’t waste your time or money here

I always confirm my reservations by calling the property in advance on the day of my stay. Nobody answered after 14 attempts. After checking in I had to change rooms twice because the TV didn’t work. All 3 rooms smelled like smoke. Very worn furniture. Plaster was flaking off the walls. The mattress was old and worn out. The bed spread was stained. Some lamps didn’t have light bulbs. The shower curtain was old and barely attached to the rod. The toilet didn’t properly flush. The swimming pool was half empty and not available for use. The property around the building was a mess. I was constantly checking on my parked vehicle as it appeared they were renting rooms for long term stays to questionable people. It literally was the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. Trust me, you don’t want Hotel.coms name associated with this horrible place. It felt like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone TV show. The photos used on your website advertising this motel are completely false and in reality look nothing like the actual place.

My kiddos and I were looking forward to swimming and having a day of relaxation. They offered a pool online however upon our stay we were informed that the pool was not in service due to renovations. So on a hunch I asked about what kind of breakfast would be served...none. Only coffee. I have one preteen and a teenager, who like we all know love food and swimming. Before a long day on the road in the morning I was disappointed to hear that all the "amenities" they offered online were unavailable. Including the "cable". We didn't get any channels in our first room and I asked if we could at least have a room where the kids can watch tv...we only got a few channels. The rooms were infested with flies and the beds barely fit. We didn't have much room to walk around. Our stay was horrible and we would never stop again. Even the old lady in the office was rude. What I found most disgusting is the amount of flies inside the office and in the rooms...she had flies doing the nasty on her head it was disgusting!
