I didn't book the smallest room, but I got a small, dark room with a broken light fixture that was supposed to be attached to the headboard, but it simply wasn't there, leaving only wires sticking out. We only stayed one night, but that was enough to ruin my impression of Zurich. The breakfast was so-so, nothing special. It would have been nice if there were stickers describing the contents. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked the size of the room, but I didn’t like the heating—it was cold inside. The room was also quite dark because there were no lights in the bedroom except for a small lamp. The bedside lights were not working. The sink’s pipe was clogged and dirty. Check-in should be self-service, this process is inconvenient. Also, after 9:30 a.m., cleaning staff started coming every half hour until 11:00 a.m., which was terrible! I informed them that I would check out by 11:00 a.m., but two cleaning ladies kept coming one after another for an hour and a half. Breakfast was average, with a poor variety of food. Noise from outside was easily heard, and the TV from the next room was so loud it disturbed my sleep. I will never stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it.

Check in was all right, we can leave our luggage when it is too early to check in. So when we get back, we were allowed to go into the luggage room and pick up the suitcase that we left earlier on. While it is convenient to me, I had a second thought of safety and security issue. The room was alright, but a bit dusty and the floor was a bit sticky too.

Very expensive, i would say twice the price of what it actually worth. I understand Switzerland is expensive, but this hotel was not worth the price. Hotel is not bad though, good location and employees were friendly.

No air conditioning, uncomfortable, and dirty.

Hotel was expensive but horrible. There was no air conditioning, so we left the windows open all night and could not sleep because of the heat and drunk people yelling outside. The bed was some kind of foam so if go to the edge you roll off onto the floor. The floor was covered with a thin felt instead of carpet. The fan and coffee machine were broken. There was mold on the shower curtain. The breakfast was average.

Hotel Montana Zürich is an excellent choice! The property is modern, spotless, and beautifully designed. Its location is unbeatable—just one block from the station, making it very convenient for travelers. The staff at the reception were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast exceeded expectations with both quality and variety. I would highly recommend this hotel 1000% to anyone visiting Zürich

Montana hotel was very convenient as it was close to the train station and other transport.. the breakfast was very good .. the room was fairly basic .. it would have been great to have a fridge in the room .. staff were so nice especially Paula she was wonderful 😊

This was a great option. The breakfast daily was fantastic, I loved the coffee machine. The location was excellent, walkable distance to the city. The staff was nice. The receptionist on checkin in gave us the first available room 1hr beforehand. She saw the tiredness in our eyes and helped as best she could. Kudos to her. The only issue with the room was no ac just fan. Not sure if this is normal in Zurich. But to be honest it really didnt bother us. Will surely recommend here for the price.
