The hotel is close to the train station,tram, groceries and restaurant. They have buffet breakfast everyday. But one day of my stay, the kitchen staff got upset that i was holding the wrong cup in front of the coffee machine. They run out of cups at that time. He could have said nicely. Also, In case you’re travelling in the summer here in zurich, this hotel does not have air conditioning. But they do provide electric fan . They have concierge there but they want you to check in and out online.

The hotel is located close to the train station and the bus station. Very convenient. It is next door to a Coop grocery store, and you are allowed to use the hotel breakfast area to eat food from the store, which can save quite a lot of money in Zurich. Room and staff very pleasant. Would stay here again.

The location ist perfect and the breakfast is nice to kickoff the day. However the pillows are the worst I have ever used. I still have neck and shoulder pain 4 days after. I requested better pillows and eventhough they looked better they didn’t support my head at all.

Mobile Phone Charging Problem

The big problem was the hotel electrical sockets are not compatible with the European-UK adaptor. The only one socket can be used were the one in the bathroom. This socket with my adaptor plugged-in needed to be supported as the socket holes were loosened. I believed it was not safe to use during showing as the bathroom was steam up. As a result, charging time was very limited for two phones.

Very handy for the central train station. Interesting to have to create your own keycard, but nice that they are made of wood for recycling. One of the breakfast staff mocked my pronunciation when asking for something - not very professional (particularly as English is my native language...)
