We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, a receptionist with a slender face and glasses greeted us, inquiring about the length of our stay. However, due to some difficulty hearing, we requested a repetition of the question, which was met with a rather sharp response. I was quite surprised to encounter such impolite behavior from a receptionist at what is advertised as a four-star hotel. The room we were assigned resembled a hostel more than a room in a four-star establishment. It was quite small, with three beds placed closely together. Given that we were booking for July, the presence of air conditioning was a crucial factor, and the hotel's advertisement indicated its availability. However, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, and we were subjected to temperatures between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius inside the room. When we brought this issue to the attention of the front desk, they were unable to provide a solution and instead offered two small, noisy fans. Consequently, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a bit aways from the main areas. Not much to do around the hotel, need to take tram or walk 40mins. Hotel is clean overall but I did find several hairs on our comforter and pillow upon arrival. Our room was big and spacious and we used the sauna couple times. Sauna is small, enough for 2 people but luckily it was empty whenever we went. Hotel itself seemed new; hallways, lobby, amenities were all spotless. I would stay here again.

located a bit out of the way very few eating places in this area and most are closed because it is Sunday Breakfast area is very small for the number of people in hotel esp when the tour groups come and are on a departure schedule food provided is basic : scrambled eggs only and bacon, cold cuts , bread , some fruits ( no bananas) coffee from a machine so there is a long line and cereals and bread Not worth the 73$ CND for 2 people but there is nothing else around

Clean, modern room, except missing basic things expected like shampoo and body wash. Location is not the best as 20 minutes from train station and 30 minutes from old city. Sauna and fitness room very simple and in basement so did not use. Early check in would have costed an extra 30 chf although room was ready.

This hotel is an absolute gem and a relative bargain in an expensive city. It is located in a trendy corner of central Zurich, steps away from funky eateries and the delightful Frau Gerolds Garten, which really comes alive at night. This hotel is conveniently located mere steps from several bus/tram options that get you downtown in under 10 minutes. I was greeted by friendly staff at reception, and the breakfast buffet featured a nice variety of quality hot/cold items. The room was spotless and super quiet, with an effective A/C for comfort during warm nights. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer stay at this hotel. Given how quickly one can get downtown, it is a no-brainer to stay here instead of more expensive options closer to old town.
