"Good older style hotel in a good location. Dinner in the dining room was convenient but had very limited menu and took a long time to be seated despite having a booking and it not being full, staff looked at us several times before someone finally came to us. Breakfast was better, fresh tea, coffee and toast. Hand held shower head only in rhe bath but a bath was a welcomed treat"

"Everything was magical, food, room, view and above all the friendly staff. Only improvement required was the very low pressure shower, not a complaint as we don’t have any, just an observation. Room 1 had a fantastic view of the Loch. We will be back for sure."

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. All the doors in the building squeak on their hinges and could benefit from some oil. Carpet in the hallway would also be good to quiet the feet going up and down the hall. There was a crack in the bathroom flooring that I thought might cut someone’s foot. There was work being done on the roof while we were there so perhaps there are other renovations being planned."

"This is an old Scottish Hotel with a modern reception, dining and extension. It has retained the best of both worlds and of course is on the sea front. We had a ground floor room in the extension with a small individual patio and facing the sea loch. We could park directly outside so bag carry was a few yards. Food excellent, perhaps over generous portions! Excellent shower ample hot water and good local toiletries. Bed large and comfortable. WiFi sound. POD based coffee. Staff excellent. Happy to go again."
