The good…Great central location ….but everything else was average. Small rooms with barely any space to open a bag. Super dim and dark. Decor worn and dated. Small odd shaped bathroom, Service wise they were all very friendly and accomodating but had to ask 3 times and took over an hour to have a bottle of water refilled..a service they promote. Ticket also wasn’t validated for neighbouring public carpark causing angst on exit. Note neighbouring car park a big asset. Wasn’t a bad stay…more just an average. Think reasonable value but hard to compare..

Location was good but a little difficult to walk to landmarks. The room was very small but clean. We didn’t have much room for our luggage. An elevated bed with storage under would help this problem.

The hotel is ideally located in the city center; however, the rooms are small and inconvenient. The housekeeping staff tends to be quite noisy, as their supply room is situated near the guest rooms, leading to frequent loud openings and closings of the door. On a positive note, the reception service was excellent. Unfortunately, the TV channels were limited, and we were charged extra for additional channels. The paid breakfast was just average. Overall, for a four-star hotel, I expected much more! Also, the swimming pool is quite small—more like a hot tub—and seems designed to deceive people through its pictures.

Fantastic location, room was beautiful (room 205) and a great roof top terrace bar and food! Nice roof top pool the other side and breakfast was exceptional. Very secure to access as need your card to get into the lobby.

This is my favorite hotel we’ve stayed in abroad. The staff were so friendly and kind. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. We always arrived back to the hotel with a freshly made bed and occasionally some sweet treats. Small things like a note halfway through saying “we hope you’re enjoying your stay” and a water dispenser in the lobby really made a big impact in the quality of the experience. The pool was always wonderful to enjoy in the evenings after exploring during the day in the summer heat & was generally very quiet. I would absolutely stay here again and will be on the lookout for other Roomate hotel locations when I’m abroad for work in London this fall.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience at Room Mate Anna was so wonderful that I felt I had to share. After a long, exhausting flight from the USA, we arrived at 7 AM with a toddler and a school-age child. The summer heat and travel took a lot out of us, but thanks to Mauro and the team allowing us to check in early, we were able to rest and feel so much better right away. We truly appreciated their kindness and flexibility—it made a big difference for our family. The location is fantastic—close to everything and very convenient, which was perfect for exploring the city. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we felt right at home. A big thank you to everyone, especially Mauro, for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend Room Mate Anna and look forward to returning!
