Relaxing B&B in South Haven

We had a very nice weekend at this B&B. A super quiet and very relaxing location. The property is in great shape and is immaculate. The hosts are very nice people and will make you feel like you are home. You can access the Kal-Haven trail just down the road from the B&B.

We absolutely loved this B&B!! We have stayed in several but this one was the very best!! We were blown away with all aspects of this place and the hosts. Breakfast was top notch. We didnt want to leave. There are many amenities as well. You must try the homemade cookies...THE BEST! We entered as strangers and left as friends. We will be back!!

Black River Inn is lovely, clean and comfortable. Don’t skip the amazing full. breakfast included with your stay. The homemade muffins are delicious! We stayed two days and the breakfast menu did not repeat. And fresh baked cookies are offered in the afternoon. Bicycles are included and the Kal-Haven trail is right down the road. It’s a short ride into town or go the other way down the trail. Room was lovely and bed comfy. Bob and Judine were wonderful hosts and could not have been nicer! Highly recommend!

Such a great B & B.....clean, comfortable, owners welcoming and helpful. Close to downtown South Haven and all the restaurants, shops, and beaches. Fantastic breakfast, too!

I had such a nice time!! My first time staying at a BnB and also in South Haven. House was so beautiful and comfortable. Lots of areas to enjoy and relax. Super clean and great food! And we could not have had more welcoming wonderful hosts.

Bob and Judine are outstanding hosts. They are very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Their home is beautiful, well maintained and immaculately clean. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I also loved the evening cookie and snacks. My wife loved the flower gardens. It was only a short drive to downtown South Haven. We will be glad to stay there again.

Perfect stay in South Haven

My wife and I were fortunate to stay at the Black River B&B while in town for a wedding in nearby Pullman,, Michigan. Bob and Judy were warm and welcoming and even lent us their bikes so that we could ride the nearby trail into town. The home was very comfortable and clean. The 1st floor room was spacious and the bed was wonderful. We enjoyed the en suite 2 person jacuzzi and it was definitely appreciated after spending the previous night on the dance floor. The two homemade breakfasts were delicious and certainly had to be better than any restaurant in town. Judy even shared her recipes with my wife. No detail in the B&B was overlooked and we would highly recommend the Black River B&B.

Fantastic place to stay, relax and enjoy

We arrived past the suggested check-in time and Judine and Bob waited for us and made us feel at home immediately. Accommodations and hospitality were absolutely fantastic. Judine and Bob treated us as family and will will be back for sure. Breakfast is promptly prepared by Judine every morning and served at 9:30am. It was delicious. Breakfast menu changes everyday and is displayed in the afternoon of the previous day. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone seeking quite, comfortable place to relax and rest. Ask Bob to show you his bobsled!
