I liked the location of the property in relationship to the train terminal as well as some of the sights. The lobby was clean and minimalistic. I didn’t get that welcoming feeling from the staff like our group did at our hotel in Venice.

Lovely hotel; but confusion with reservations.

I Portici is a lovely hotel and I definitely recommend it. However, I was frustrated by confusion over my reservation. I reserved a suite for five people (for me, my wife and three kids). My confirmation clearly showed this. But I was charged nearly double because I "required two adjoining rooms for five people." Had this been explained when I made the reservation, it wouldn't be a problem. But being told this at the time of checkout is a problem.

Nice crisp modern hotel in great location.

Pros: Cleanliness. Location. Price.
Cons: Larger rooms.
Location: Perfect.
We stayed for 4 nights. 1st room was incredibly small so we upgraded for a small cost. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are modern and clean and hotel is well maintained. Close to train station and center. No more than 10 minute walk to each. Great value for price. Staff very friendly.
