The pictures make the unit look much better than it does in person. Parts of the unit looked like they hadnât been cleaned in weeks/months. There was dust on some areas that was caked on and hadnât been touched in a long time. If the owner actually hired cleaners to clean the unit, then they need to find someone new because they arenât doing a good jobThe bathroom has a smell which multiple reviews have mentioned in the past, and instead of fixing it, the owner just keeps blaming any renters who mention it.Do yourself a favor and find a different place that actually cares about providing a product that actually matches its description instead of tricking people into booking with good photography.
The apartment is modern and attractive - just as it appears in the photos. The VRBO description saysâ parking available,â - only after confirming our reservation did we learn that the owner would charge for its use. Street parking is hit and miss but and also available for a metered fee. Be prepared to drive to the historic center - there is a good underground garage there that you can reach without violating the pedestrian laws. The views are indeed good but the terraces are not inviting.
The location is in the University area, so that is exactly the vibe of the location. Youâll see lots of students. Itâs very secure. It is every bit of 20 minute walk to square. So if you want to be removed from the center of the restaurants and action, this is for you. Doing it again, Iâd stay in the Cavour area. The hot water in main shower didnât work. We were limited in towels and the bed is very hard. Itâs about 10 inches of mattress on hard board frame. I slept in the couch. The pictures of the skyline at night were very pretty. The owner of the property was pretty reachable. We needed to check in 1.5 hours early and he charged another $50. Iâm not sure if this is typical but we had to pay this to Stire our luggage.
This was mine and my husbandâs first time staying in Bologna and we enjoyed staying in this apartment! It was very clean and the pictures were accurate, and also the host easily accessible when we had problems or questions about the apartment. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and definitely removed from the more touristy areas, which we prefer. We had a lovely stay!
The views and this apartment is definitely a 5 star. There are 3 separate decks with views from each. AMAZING!! It is located 20 minutes outside of the city but it's an easy walk or Uber ride. The owner was very responsive and helped us out with all of our questions. Beware there are steps in the master up and down to get to sink and bathroom. Can be difficult for older people. We would have liked a few more amenities. For example, there was only one set of towels for 3 nights, there were no kitchen towels or paper towels, only 3 coffee pods, and no instructions on how to use any of the appliances or AC. Other than that, it was a great stay and we highly recommend.
A lovely apartment. Its walkable into the historic centre but you can also get buses.
We appreciated the air conditioning.
Really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.
The apartment is as it appears on the website. What may be understated is the beautiful views from the many porches on the 8th floor. You can see the city and the hillsides. The apt is in a nice shady suburb, and about a 10 minute walk to buses that take you everywhere in the city, but also a good grocery store. Kitchen is small, but with a large frig and icemaker.
Finding this apartment was very easy. The check in process was a breeze and the host just happened to be near the apartment to help if we needed anything. We did not need anything because the apartment is perfect. The view of the city center is amazing and we took some amazing pictures with the sun setting over the towers and Duomo. The location is perfect, easy walk into town but a nice quiet neighborhood to retreat to. We had an amazing time. See you next year!
Great apartment - spacious, comfortable, well equipped, quiet neighbourhood. Nice cafes and bars close by, and easy access to city centre by bus or excellent taxi service.
Even has an ice maker for cold drinks on terrace or balcony as you enjoy the view.
As beautiful as it looks in the pictures, and a joy to stay there
We couldn't believe our luck in finding this place at the last moment. The views are spectacular, the apartment is lovely and comfortable -- and looks *exactly* as it does in the pictures! Everything was perfect, and our hosts were excellent and helpful with every little thing. The neighborhood is not in the historic center, but it is an easy walk there, and the bus stop is about a 3 minute walk if you prefer. There's no traffic noise;, the neighborhood is totally safe; there's just the sound of kids enjoying the playground nearby in the summer evening. I would definitely return and I highly recommend it. It's like staying in a really nice hotel where you can cook! (PS: The neighborhood has one of the best restaurants we went to in Bologna: Delogo Taverna Greca. Looks very ordinary. But make a reservation because even on weeknights in summer, it's packed.)
