Once our family’s land, this family property has been developed into a relaxing, rural retreat that has both vintage flair and modern amenities. This charming 5-acre property features expansive outdoor patios and wooden decks, outdoor kitchen and BBQ smoker, a two bedroom house and a one-bedroom pool house suite surrounding a tranquil pool and waterfall spa.

With native landscaping, old growth live oak trees, abundant wildlife including rabbits, deer, raccoons and more, the rustic charm of the setting will inspire you. The property, pool, hot tub and beautiful outdoor spaces makes a great retreat throughout the year!

Located just west of Buda, this property offers the amenities of Austin, the charm of Buda and the seclusion of 5 acres. Look at the satellite photo of the property to get a sense of its scale and beauty of this compound. To top it off, the host who lives in the back corner of the land, is available to address any concerns. If you need anything from dinner recommendations or property maintenance, Jeff will be do everything he can to accommodate your needs! Just ask.

First off very nice host who was good at communicating. However this place has seen better days. Listed as a “retreat” but I would recommend it as a “very rustic” hunting cabin for a couple of dudes. Pool is listed as heated year round but that is not the case and the hot tub was freezing as well. WiFi is not great and unusable for work. We were there for a wedding and could not find an ironing board or even a kitchen trash can (?). Place definitely needs a cleaning - vents caked with dust, dog food on the floor, mold on outside bedroom shower. Accidentally Dropped something under the bed and it was clear no one has cleaned there ever. I’m not that picky, but we traveled through hell to get to Texas and it would have been nice to relax in a decent place. Once again, Jeff seems like a very nice guy, but have to pass on the realities of this place especially for the price. At least it was warm and dry during the very cool weather.

Fantastic Family Experience

Great vacation home!

The outdoor amenities are great! We thoroughly enjoyed bbqing & relaxing in the hot tub. Would love to come back in summer time when the weather is warmer. It is in a town close to stores, but secluded enough that you feel out of the city. The house has a few creaks, but it’s very roomy & comfortable. It had all the things we needed to cook & enjoy our stay. The host was very accommodating & fast to replay when we communicated. 100% wouldboom here again.

Perfect Getaway

Relaxing Time In Texas

Our family got together to celebrate my father in law's birthday. We knew we needed a large enough property to hold all of us while giving us the comforts of home. Jeff's property did not disappoint. The main house sleeps 6 comfortably. The pool house another 2. The main living room is large enough for 10 people to play games in when we wanted. The kitchen was large enough for all prep work. But you go to this property not for the main house or pool house but to enjoy your time outside. The outside was amazing! Huge BBQ area to watch football games and have a cook out. A fire pit to enjoy the late nights. An 8 foot smoker to have a culinary experience of smoking brisket, ribs and sausages. A pool and heated hot tub. So much space that the kids can be free but safe while the adults can relax. Here's the reality check that apparently some may miss. This is a family home that is opened up to share with others. It's not the cabin from Yellowstone. There are imperfections that have been brought to the hosts attention. But none of them detracted from the beauty and most importantly the value that the property brings. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

Perfect space for enjoying the fall weather

Had an amazing experience with this beautiful property, hot tub was much needed after each day of a music festival we were going to. Jeff was super, helping out with some fire wood so that we could smoke some briskets in the really spacious smoker! I’ll be so happy to come back and stay again soon! The house and pool house were well maintained and had no issues whatsoever.
