The property was like a government haven for down and outs - nearly everybody I saw in and around the property were very rough looking and I know this sounds very elitist - Iâm not saying that those people shouldnât have a place to be, just not in a place thatâs a hotel for travelers needing a nice place to sleep.
The room was extremely basic and we felt like we were in a jail cell. The room smelled damp and unkempt.
One of the worst places I have stayed in over 30 years.
I had accidentally booked this motel, thought I was booking Super 8. This place is very old, needs major upkeep. Seemed clean but floors had white paint marks and black scuff marks. No additional amenities like a blow dryer, coffee maker or tissues. My second night I was bit by something on my legs and arm while sleeping, and broke out in a rash. I reported it to the morning desk clerk. I should have taken a pic of it. Does have cable and internet.
Front desk personnel was nice. Doors open to the outside, which is convenient when traveling with two dogs. This is an older motel, but they keep it clean and neat, the beds are comfy.
