The property was like a government haven for down and outs - nearly everybody I saw in and around the property were very rough looking and I know this sounds very elitist - I’m not saying that those people shouldn’t have a place to be, just not in a place that’s a hotel for travelers needing a nice place to sleep.
The room was extremely basic and we felt like we were in a jail cell. The room smelled damp and unkempt.
One of the worst places I have stayed in over 30 years.
I liked the staff and the bed. When we checked in we were told they had 3 housekeeping staff call off work and if there were any issues to call the front desk - I said we would be understanding. In general, the main sleeping/sitting area was clean with the table and chairs being newer items. The bed sheets and blankets were new also however, there was graffiti over the headboard of the bed. In the bathroom the floor was peeling up, the walls were dirty with finger smudges and spots that could have been washed off. On the plus side, the toilet and sink were clean. We did not use the shower until the second day so we didn’t see how dirty the shower wall was - both of us wear glasses and only see up close without them. There was snot stuck to the shower wall!
The overall feel of the room was a cross between trying to look spiffy and covering up old decaying structures.
We said we felt safe staying there but only felt safe because my husband was with me. I would not feel safe if I was travelling alone.
The reviews on Expedia were around 4.5 so we thought it was a good place to be for the price. Unfortunately, we would not recommend anyone to stay there and will be spending the few extra dollars on a different motel/hotel next time we are in Butte.
The bed was very hard, felt like we were laying on a sheet of plywood and people knocking on our door at midnight, and woke us up. Area seems pretty sketchy also.
Crackheads loud af all night, moldy tubs, itchy blankets, cheap hard beds, rude staff, NO breakfast. for $130 a night I expected a little bit better. 0/10

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The room was quite large (we had a room with 2 queen beds) and surprisingly sound proof. There were some issues with the water temperature in the shower and the lighting in the room was minimal, but otherwise no other issues. Check-in and out were a breeze. Lots of walking distance restaurants (we chose the sports bar called Metals and it was a great place).
The building is in disrepair. It is in a part of town that doesn’t seem as safe. Room was clean but very minimal. Bathtub fills up with water (drain is open) when showering.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
WiFi was slow when it worked. Didn’t work most of the time. Stair broke so all guests had to be moved to the bottom floor.
