209 W. Hurlbut. Charlevoix Family Home - beautiful home, completely updated. One block into town, four blocks from Lake Michigan. Two thousand square feet. Three bedrooms upstairs (one king, one queen, one double and two twin beds). full size crib. Two full bathrooms - upstairs bathroom was completely remodeled in 2022!!! Two full bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs. Double bed in fourth bedroom downstairs. Huge kitchen with island/bar stools and kitchen table that seats eight. Height chair. Two central air conditioners/furnaces- one on each floor. Two furnaces as well for winter stays.

All appliances, including washer and dryer , big screen TVs with Rokus in every single room, including the kitchen. Huge fenced-in backyard with deck and brand new built-in hot tub as of July 2022. Firepit and firewood included. Kids swing set, built-in sandbox. and tree house. Brand-new natural gas Barbeque and Picnic Table on Backyard Deck for dinner/entertaing. Year-round living - all linens, towels, beach towels, Beach chair, silverware, all cooking utensils, etc. Real Wood Fireplace with Firewood icluded. Rent by the week or long weekend (depending on the season). Rates are determined by season.

Please note that our brand-new hot tub is available all year round!! We do not close it in the winter. If the review says the hot tub was down this was only for a couple of months last winter and we replaced it with a brand new high-end unit.

Newly constructed front porch with seating for eight or more and tables for hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Also, beautiful landscaping throughout the entire property!!

Also, please note that the entire house has been updated. Including brand new marble bathroom and standup shower upstairs.

Additionally, we just created a brand new computer/office set up for work at home capabilities with three monitors, printer and scanner. We also have Spectrum high speed Wi-Fi Internet.

When we walked into their home we saw how bright and welcoming it was. I loved that we could walk in and start "setting up" without having to move vases and decorations. Don't get me wrong, their home decor is classy and sweet without overdoing it. Usually we have to move things to be able to make ourselves comfortable with OUR things, if that makes any sense! The king bed we slept in was fabulous, a soft and comfortable sleep. The hot tub was amazing and the shower head upstairs was the best we have ever had! The walk to town was short and there was a grocery store right around the corner to pick up food items. It was spacious and had the basic necessities. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs to be able to run around in. We found nature trails for them in the area and were even able to take them down to the water. The beach by the way, IS walking distance. It was just the 2 of us and our dogs, but there is plenty of room for more! I recommend this home for location, dog-friendly vibes, comfortable spaces, cleanliness and charm of the home itself. Thank you Thav Family for opening your home for a fun family get-a-way!

Loved our stay in Charlevoix at Andrew’s property! Walking distance to restaurants, downtown shopping, the City marina and amphitheater, library, Lake Michigan beaches, lighthouse and ice cream! Our grand children loved the play yard under the huge shade trees, great entertainment when you’re done for the day! Easy check-in/out process, house amenities and super nice host. A charming house so conveniently located near town and beach access! Well equipped with all of the things to live comfortably for a long weekend in Charlevoix including a spacious yard and hot tub. Charlevoix Family Trip

We have enjoyed multiple stays at this property and will keep coming back. The location to downtown is perfect. We walk into town for coffee, meals, shopping. The house was the perfect size for our adult family (all adult kids). We enjoyed the pretty sunroom, the back deck and hot tub. The beds are comfortable which was essential for our two week stay. The owner Andrew was a great host, very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Lake Charleviox Stay

We were in Lake Charleviox for a family vacation and family wedding. This house met all our needs with a fenced in back yard for the dogs, playset for the kids, hot tub for adults in the evening. Great location, can walk to beach, library, downtown for shopping, restaurants and bars/taverns. The town is just great. The listing said two cribs, and only one there, but the owner had a new pack and play delivered to us the next day. He stated one had broke a few weeks ago. We appreciated the responsiveness to the need due to the original listing information. Very responsive and great with communication with us before, during and after.

Beautiful Memories, Beautiful Place

The landscaping and cute front porch are a wonderful welcome to the northern Michigan experience. The house is centrally located to everything we love about Charlevoix. Easy walk to the beach, the lighthouse, the marina, and all that downtown Charlevoix has to offer. Everything was well stocked and our family was able to feel at home hanging out, cooking meals, enjoying the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The fenced backyard was great for our grandkids. The host was very responsive and the house was clean and comfortable. Charlevoix never disappoints and this house was perfect for our family vacation.

A Great Upper Michigan Family Beach House Experience

Stayed here with a few friends for a low-key ski trip in January. The house is warm and cozy, and even in winter the hot tub is wonderful. Location-wise, while it is a bit aways from the shore, it is easily walkable to Charlevoix's Main Street and the beach, even in heavy snow. A short, 5 min drive gets you to the Mt. McSauba ski hill, perfect for first time skiers. Andrew was very friendly and responsive, and their house feels like a nice, lived in family vacation home, not a property just being rented out by a company. We were happy to spend some time there and would stay again.

Perfect for family of 7

We went to go skiing at Boyne but got rained out every day we were there. Luckily the house had everything we needed for an amazing time. Huge tv in the family room to watch movies, huge table in the kitchen for cards and games, four nice bedrooms with comfy beds and the hot tub works rain or shine 😊 Location was also amazing. 5 minute walk to restaurants, shopping, and the movie theater. The people or Charlevoix could not have been nicer. We even took a quick day trip to Petoskey for lunch! Great time had by all. Would def rebook!

Wonderful Wedding Week!

This was a perfect location and home for us to stay in for a family wedding. It had plenty of bedrooms and bed accommodations. We loved the fact that it had a fenced in yard with a play structure, fire pit and plenty of room to have family over. We used the hot tub almost daily and that was such an added treat. The location to town and the beach was fantastic as it allowed us to have adventures without having to drive or pack up a car! Our host, Andrew had so many added amenities .. lots of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, firewood and plenty of outside seating. Inside there were lots of dishes and pots and pans ( totally appreciated by me..the cook) so we could all eat together and prep time was cut in half! He also made himself available if we had any questions or concerns. We appreciated the great work his housekeeper did to make the home clean and ready for our arrival..and the front porch is spectacular with all the lovely flowers . We look forward to staying in his home again.

Yoopergirls weekend

My friends and I do an annual girls weekend. This year we decided and Charlevoix and this home was perfect for us! We loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We walked to see the mushroom houses, to the beach, to town, etc. there was plenty of room for all of us and the hosts were very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful home close to downtown!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It is within walking distance to downtown. The house is so spacious and stocked with everything we needed. There’s plenty of room in the backyard for whatever activities you enjoy. The hot tub was perfect. Not to mention- the host was wonderful to work with. Very responsive, helpful and accommodating during our stay! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area for another vacation!
