The beds were sunken in so that you could feel the springs. Back pain upon waking up. Our first room had a broken air conditioner that would turn off every few minutes, as well as a crater-like queen bed. Thankfully the staff let us change to a room with two double beds. These beds were only slightly better, but thankfully the AC worked.

Good room for a good price

This hotel is a great deal if you just need a place to sleep. The rooms are dated and sparsely appointed. And there are no amenities to speak of. No continental breakfast. No toiletries in the bathroom. No in-room coffee or microwave or refrigerator. But the rooms are clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The shower is great, powerful with plenty of hot water. And the A/C is nice and cold. And the room cost $50/day less than the Holiday Inn Express right down the road. If you just want a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay without any bells and whistles, this place is a great deal.

I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such high ratings. Our experience was not very pleasant. The beds were quite uncomfortable, and it was hard to get a good night’s sleep. While the cleanliness and staff were acceptable, the overall comfort did not meet our expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it.
