Great hotel / deceptive communication

I thought it was highly misleading that they did not inform me the rooftop hot tub / outdoor area was closed for window washing. The entire reason that I booked this place was for the hot tub and roof top views only to be informed at check in that they were closed. The roof top is the key image in all of their media, on hotels.com and on their website. They contacted me multiple times before my check in about parking / pet fees / check in times but never once mentioned the roof being closed. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere. They conveniently waited until I was outside of the cancellation window before informing me. Pretty deceptive…

Beautiful views of the lake and located in a prime area with easy walking to all that CouerD’Alene has to offer. Leroy was a gem to work with while checking in. We’ll definitely be back!

The location and room were great. We loved the easy walking to downtown. The room and patio were nice and we enjoyed our breakfasts outside. From when we first checked in the front desk seemed apathetic at best. We were told the roof area with hot tub and views was closed so the window cleaners could work. It seemed like an excuse, this was a weekend and there were no cleaners to be found all weekend. Very frustrating as it’s a reason we booked at the property. Parking is extremely limited and I asked what happens when it’s full and I got a non answer. Sure enough we went for a movie came back at 11:05pm and had no where to park and no front desk. When I asked to have parking removed for the night from my bill I got the impression I was inconveniencing the staff. So, great location and good facilities if they are available.

We looked into the lake which was beautiful. And the space was very nice , no light on the patio if you like to sit outside. The club house level wasn’t available as they were window washing and closed the hot tub so didn’t have use of that or the gym However the area is spectacular and you don’t need to drive anywhere. We loved the area and will return.

Got locked out of our room for several hours in the middle of the night. No people were in the lobby at the time so we had to wait for someone to come out and get us into the room. That had all of our stuff in it as well.
