We stayed at the Aloft Dallas DFW Airport both before and after our trip to Italy as a sort of staging point because of its convenient location and the availability of long-term parking on the property. Excellent choice. The hotel is modern/minimalist, but very comfortable and quiet, and only a short ride from the airport. It was a great place to arrive after a long (15+ hour) trip from Milan including a very early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to and from the airport was also a great benefit. The one thing to beware of is that there's not really any nearby place to eat. The hotel has a convenience bar with various things, but not real meals, and the nearest restaurants are at least a mile away as far as I could tell. This didn't really matter to us this time, but it's something to keep in mind for your planning. In every other way I would not hesitate to recommend the Aloft Dallas DFW. It provided a great start and comfortable finish to our trip.
