No one works the front desk even though it’s advertised for 24 hour service. We had to wait a while when we came late at night. In the morning, no one was there again. The room didn’t have shampoo or body wash so I had to go buy some. There was no blow dryer and when we called to request one at 7 am they said we could get one at 11 am (which is check out time) because they won’t open the front desk until then. We could hear people all night long - terrible wall insulation. The bed was uncomfortable and had a noisy plastic sound anytime I would turn in bed. This was a frustrating stay.

So my only gripe about this place is not only can you not have cats, but apparently they cant visit either, after i already paid for a week. I do community outreach and research, and the worst part of the last few months has not been working with the homeless and people in need, it was the people working at the hotels Ive had to stay at while working this project. Its very discouraging to people like me who are trying to do good for the community we all live in, only to be met with constant trivial nonsense for the hotel staff where we have to stay at. I booked this through exspiedia and it said pets were allowed i didnt look at the actual website for woodspring other wise i would never have booked there in the first place, but i sent the cat with my daughter and she brought him to visit and I got kicked out, fine. Thank you for that, this incident was the straw that broke the camels back, and I decided to end my field research for our project, and I will figure out another way to connect with the people who need it most in our community. Other than the the hotel is good,quite and safe, just dont ever have a cat come to visit.

Stayed for a week and checked in after hours was a breeze. Location was convenient to Dick’s Sporting Goods Complex. Most of staff was helpful and friendly except one employee at front desk during stay who was disrespectful rude and lazy. Laundry detergent dispenser didn’t work. CO2 battery alarm going off in hallway for hours then after reporting it came back hours later to it still going off and was told maintenance was never notified. The people above would wait until 10pm to start running around and moving furniture for hours making it hard to sleep with all the noise. Door to bathroom in room was very loud, 2 broken outlet covers and mystery red blob near bathroom light switch.
