When I booked, I had chosen to pay when I arrived. Between the time we reserved and when we arrived, we had to cancel our original CC and get a new one. I was expecting to just pay with our new card when we got there. However, when we arrived, I found they had earlier in the day run our card and then canceled our reservation because that card was not good. They did not call us, they did not text just, they did not email us, they just canceled. Why run the card before we even get there? They went on to say they were all booked up so they could not honor the original quote but could book us for over twice the original price. How can you be booked up but be able to offer a room at over twice the price? Sounds like a scam to force people into more costly rooms when they start filling up. During the clerk's conversation with the manager, it was clear they had done this to several other people just that day. Needless to say, we did not stay there.
