This is a great location near restaurants, the Detroit Zoo and downtown Royal Oak. The hotel feels new and very clean. The breakfast options were not restocked well when I had breakfast around 9am. For a Sunday there probably needed to be at least 2 employees keeping up with it. The one woman who was working breakfast was very nice and looked busy, so I believe it was more of a staffing issue. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again because breakfast does not make or break a hotel for me over other conveniences.

Two seperate rooms on two seperate floors neither had properly working toliets. Barely flushes. Water pressure in showers also poor. At this price point in this area and for a new hotel, i expected much better.

The room was not only clean, everything was new since the Hyatt at Woodward Corners just opened. Beautiful finishes in the room, including the kitchen area. Wonderful walk-in shower. Great selection of hot and cold foods at the complementary breakfast. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced - good location.
