On strike nothing open, banging on drums starts at 6 am sharp not my fault they are on strike. Horrible experience will not ever stay there again.

Nice location was able to walk to all venues in Detroit really cool!, And the rooms were super quiet throughout the night… with a great view of the Ambassador Bridge at night 👍

We came to Detroit for business and wanted to be down town. We chose this facility for the pool and multiple restaurants. When we checked in we were told that our children were not allowed in the pool, even with parents. You needed to be at least 14. Nor were our children allowed at most of the restaurants because all but one were in the casino. It should have been advertised as an adult hotel. We were unable to hook up our Roku Tv because they want you to purchase their movies. Then we were charged and additional “resort” fee at checkout. We did not enjoy our experience at the grand.

The property listed a pool in the description and that was a large part of why we selected this property for our family, but we were advised at check in that no one under 14 would be allowed in the pool. My girls came along on a business trip to swim! We were very disappointed.
