This complex is starting to show its age. The windows need to be replaced, as some of them will not stay open and could come crashing down on your fingers and screens were missing.

BAD- do not stay here

DO NOT STAY HERE. Did not feel safe. Teens hanging out the windows cussing at us as we walked in. There is no sofa sleeper bed as advertised. It is a hard sofa with no real mattress. Worst bed ever. Rust on frig, stove top in bad condition. Bathroom mirror rusty. Very poor condition over all. One of the worse hotel stays we have ever had.

This place is in need of some deep cleaning and refreshment. Lots of opportunities to clean up the appearance. Paint peeling in the room, toilet wouldn’t stop running and outside pool looked disgusting. The refrigerator in the room was filthy on the outside and the room just seemed in need of a deep cleaning. I won’t be staying here again.

Location was good but not a lot of sidewalks for dogs or walking. Carpet was new but a little difficult to open and close closets due to height of carpet. Otherwise worked well. Friendly staff!

Our stay in Dearborn Michigan

This was a planned trip to go and get my grandmother who currently lives in the highland park, Detroit area. When I arrived at the hotel we found out this Marriot is not a brand but a Franchise. The clerk advised us there was a 250.00 incidental charge, which was not an issue but we was informed that if we use our Chime, apple pay or cash app, it could take up to 30 days to receive the incidental fee back. I advised the clerk that in the near future, if they use a third-party booking site for example like (hotels.com) they need to advise the traveler that this is the amount they will be responsible for and if they use any of these type of payments for the incidental fee, don't expect a refund back in 3-5 business days which is normally the turnaround time depending on your financial institute.

Fantastic Hotel close to Detroit

Visited Detroit just overnight to attend a concert at The Masonic Temple. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The receptionist who processed my check-in was kind, efficient and professional. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable, kitchen well-stocked, shower had great water temp/pressure and nicely scented toiletries. It was quiet even with it's high capacity. Breakfast was top-notch and the breakfast room was clean and well-attended. The location was 15 mins by highway to downtown Detroit. I visit Detroit a few times a year and will be returning to this location from now on.

Our room was nice, no complaints. On another note, the receptionist was great. Whoever worked that Saturday morning, 4/19th, did a great job on crowd control. If it wasn't for the slow system, which probably needs more RAM, she would have serviced everyone even better. Thanks. P.S. The security deposit amount is ridiculous. You can reserve the card on file without having to put the $$$ on hold. 7 - 10 day hold/release is ridiculous. Change that, please and thank you.
