When I walked up to the check in desk I was not acknowledged. The man behind the bar was making coffees, but I couldn’t tell if he was the concierge. All he had to say was “I’ll be right with you.” Then our room wasn’t ready for an hour after check in time.

It wasn’t a pleasant stay unfortunately. They have turned off the a/c and it’s not useable in the winter. It’s just the beginning of October and the window only opens a crack… nor do you want the window open as it’s at the airport so loud outside. Our room was 27 degrees Celsius!! It’s as an oven!! The bed was comfortable and although the room was small it was functional and modern. Our check in experience was strange and I did not like it and I recommend they change it. You check in at the bar. One guy was checking in and serving the bar. About 5-6 people waiting to check in and I watch his co-worker close the window where they kept the food, then he chatted with another employee for a little while then walked over to the bar grabbed himself a cup of water and then went and did other tasks. So the one guy checking people in was serving the bar patrons eternal checking us in so it took a long time. Next thing u know as the check in guy is serving another bar patron there is now 3 more employees serving bar patrons and nobody checking anyone in. Where are the priorities here. So the service was not great.

FALSE ADVERTISING! This place, although convenient to the airport, is awful! They say they have A/C - they do not. We actually left another hotel because it was so hot, forfeiting our money there, and booked this, needing a good night sleep before our flight home the next morning. We asked the manager about it and she advised us to open the window if we wanted the room cooler. Also, bar/restaurant was extremely understaffed and slow and awful food! Also, they were out of ketchup! I’m going to pursue a refund! Stay away!

The dining area people did not seem to know what was happening. They had two different menus and one person said it opened at 5pm then we got there and it was 5:30. Drinks were expensive. And then the menu changed and the options we chose to stay for were not available.

Car parking was limited due to building work but I was still charged for parking on the road outside the hotel, which was the first issue. Second issue was the room was very hot, 22 degrees, so I set the colling system to 18 and went to bed, in the morning after a very bad nights sleep, and checking the thermostat the room temp was 26 degrees. I complained but was told unless I had come down during the night and complained there was nothing they could do - this is the third time I have had issues at this hotel and will now not book this hotel again

Small room. Terrible food. The “9 inch” pizza was a microwave tasting Hot Pocket. Horrible. Eat anywhere else but here. Noisy all night. No ability to communicate with staff, room service, ,etc. I would try the two other hotels next door or stay at the Haymarket and use the tram. They fail to tell you the place is under construction.
