A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.

This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.

We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.

Gigabit Internet, Secure Wireless network anywhere in the house and on the decks. Internet computer provided for guest use.Wireless printer with scan and copy.
The hot tub is a Sundance Altamar 850 that seats up to six, and runs year round 24/7.
A well equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
Hi-def home theater with surround sound, Satellite, DVR, DVD,VCR. Screen is 120' diagonal. Lots of entertainment here.
The theater has its own tv tuner,120 channels of satellite tv, This theater is very unique as you can view the mountains and wildlife while you are watching movies or TV!
Xbox 360 with controllers and games. Four rock band wireless guitars (including the Fender Mustang) with wireless drum set and key board.
Xbox 360 Kinect with games on a separate X-box console so you don't have to change connections.
We have about twenty video game titles at this time with all the popular rock band, Guitar hero, Halo,Kinect, and Wii games. Ask for a list.

Met family for Thanksgiving, seven of us. Had a great Thanksgiving meal there. Best VRBO kitchen we could have hoped for. Had pretty much every kitchen pan and gadget we needed, The pantry was also very generously stocked. plus a freezer full of waffles! Location was fantastic, just down the road from good food and a grocery store. 10min from downtown Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the YMCA of the Rockies. The views from the wrap around deck are gorgeous. We had deer in the yard nearly every day. Mary's lake which was just a bit down the road looked beautiful, we didn't get to stop by and regret we didn't. Internet access worked great. The house had several features we didn't take advantage of. Including a few grills, a hot tub.and fishing equipment, The host was incredibly responsive, and easy to get a hold of. We had a special request and are very appreciative of how incredibly accommodating he was. This place is a great value, clean, super comfortable. I would definitely book again.

We all loved it and hope to come back again! A giant Elk greeted us as we pulled up to the property and we just knew it would be a great time for our family!

This is our second stay! We love the location of this cabin. We love the 2 decks and hot tub. It is extremely well stocked with everything you would need and more.Gary is welcoming and attentive. This home has space for everyone and it’s warm and comfortable.

The house was perfect-we were to have 10 guests but four were unable to join us due to school and work commitments. My nephew was able to join us so we did have a group of 7, 3 of which had never visited Colorado including my youngest grandson, age 17. The younger folks loved the hot tub and used it at least 3 times. As far as the kitchen, I've never rented a home or condo that was as stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home was clean and lacked for nothing. We also enjoy having several game nights as the owners have lots of games to choose from. Thank you for everything! This home was perfect and I hope to return in the next year of so with my folks who couldn't come along last week and we will definitely look at staying at this home once again.

Nicely laid out so everyone had their own space with both indoor and outdoor seatings for gathering. Elk paraded by easily visible from the back deck. Quiet neighborhood made for restfull sleep after touring Rocky Mountain NP.

Most Amazing sunrises over Mary’s Lake. Fully stocked kitchen. Great layout of the home. So many places to eat and hang. The kids favorite was the ground squirrels that would take peanuts and carrots from the kids. We will 100% book again based on amenities and location. However, the host was amazing as well. Excellent communication and attention to details. Definitely book this one. You will not regret it!

Fantastic stay

This place has it all. Gary is a fantastic host and always available for questions or concerns. Location is fantastic for Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes. Entertainment center set-up is insane. My family loves this place and we hope to be back. Gary is always available but I think the best thing I can say is that we didn’t need him because everything you need is already there with excellent instructions. Can’t recommend any higher.

Gary’s property was very clean, spacious and accommodating for our group of 9. Plenty of bedrooms and baths, an abundantly appointed kitchen and inviting hot tub made our stay comfortable and homey! Gary was very responsive with our questions. The view from the deck was wonderful and he has plenty of outdoor seating (grills) to encourage time outside. The kids got a kick out of the Wii, also! The house’s proximity to RMNP is a plus, as well as to downtown Estes, groceries & gas. The only caution we would leave is to bring your ear plugs if you are an adult sleeping downstairs. The fan on the HVAC is very loud overnight, which wasn’t an issue for the kids but did disturb the adults. We did try turning off the unit overnight but woke up cold. We never quite found the balance during our stay. Other than that, our experience was excellent!
