Just a five-minute walk from the beautiful Pier Cove beach and a ten-minute drive to Saugatuck, this charming chalet tucked in the woods offers the perfect private getaway for your next vacation. With wineries nearby, a hot tub for relaxation, and newly decorated interiors, you'll feel right at home in this serene retreat. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature's beauty at this peaceful oasis.

INSIDE THE HOME

The first floor features an open floor plan and is fully wired for sound, making it perfect for entertaining throughout the home. Relax on the large comfy couch as you cozy up for movie night in front of the 55” smart TV and sound bar. Enjoy cooking in the well-stocked kitchen or grilling outside before game night in the dining room, on the screened-in porch or in the backyard. Finish your night under the stars in the four-person hot tub before heading to one of two spacious, en suite bedrooms featuring all new mattresses.

We all loved this house! Clean m, well designed, and just as pictured. My only note would be to bring sleep masks, as the bedroom windows don’t have shades to keep out morning sun. (In this beautiful wooded location, they are definitely not needed for privacy!)

This property is amazing! The open layout flows comfortably and the decor is warm and welcoming. The screened in porch lets you feel like your outside in the beauty of nature. Loved all the deer hanging around the trees. We had the best of both worlds...feeling like you're in the country and close enough to the beach. Short drives to local areas made this a gem of a place to stay.

A very good stay

Great location. Very comfortable house. Nice decor. Good selection of available outdoor and indoor games. The hot tub was a hit. Need a more specific list of amenities as the outside shed had beach items we wouldn't have needed to bring. The nearest beach was closed and it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time.

Girls Weekend Getaway

Home was cozy and quaint. Well laid out for 5 adult guests. Overall home was clean but some bugs did find their way inside, it’s nestled in the trees, understandable. Beds were very comfortable! Would have liked to have more towels provided. The beach that was a 5 minute walk away was under construction, very disappointing. There was a beach a 5 minute drive away but it was less private and more of a hassle than walking. Wish the host would have let us know before hand.

Just fabulous! The house was gorgeous, the location private and peaceful and yet so close to everything. We enjoyed the hot tub and campfire, the screened in porch. We did some beach days, went shopping in Saugatuck, visited the Art Barn and Holland. Wish we could have stayed longer. My only suggestion is to hang a mirror somewhere in the master suite. Otherwise, perfection!

Great Spot for cozy getaway immersed in nature

Very easy check in and out process. House was very comfortable and nicely decorated all throughout. Very nice collection of books and board games. The house was nestled in such a great spot with so much wildlife. It was nice to see and experience. Was a very short walk to pier cove, very relaxing there. Short drive to douglas area with plenty of things to do! Will definitely be coming back when we're looking to get away! Thank you all so much!

Great house in a quiet setting at a wonderful location

Great house in a quiet setting at a wonderful location. House is very nice and well appointed. Only complaint is that the downstairs shower is very small. With the size of the bathroom, that can be easily resolved. There were mouse droppings in the dining room and half bath, but that is no surprise for a house in the woods during fall when the temps are dropping.

A fantastic honeymoon location

The cabin was grandiose and beautiful, it's situated in a very private woodsy area, the built in speakers throughout the house were very cool and the hot tub was addicting. It's designed very well and included a lot of kitchen amenities as well as some outdoor activities. Overall couldn't pick a better honeymoon location. Loved it.

Absolutely serene!!!

This was an incrediblely relaxing stay. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Outside it's a Disney princess paradise complete with frolicking deer and scampering squirrels. The beach is a short walk down the road and shopping and some amazing restaurants are just a 15minute drive either direction. This was by far our favorite rental and plan to visit again.

Amazing West Michigan Hidden Gem

Our stay in Fennville was highlighted by our stay here. The house was clean and inviting. There were a few maintenance issues with lightbulbs and towel rods, but service came out very quickly and fixed things right up. The amenities were top notch. We loved the open concept downstairs. There were plenty of opportunities for our family to be together, but also many built in ways for each of us to have our space. It was great being within walking distance of Pier Cove Park on Lake Michigan. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautifully furnished getaway in the woods with close access to beach, cities, and all sorts of fun

Great Well-Stocked house in wonderful location

Loved the furnishings, the quiet, the heavily-wooded lot, the small library, the screened-in porch and patio, the super comfy linens and beds, and the well stocked kitchen tableware and utensils. The house seems like it was designed by an architect, because of the size, charm, and flow of the rooms. It is walking distance to Pier Cove beach which is great for watching sunsets. Lyons Market is a short drive and they had great local summer fruits. We enjoyed the short hiking ravine trail within walking distance. I the trail was hard to find, so realtor could include directions. The house has an easy drive to Douglas and Saugatuck. We had only one problem with the amenities, the hot tube was super hot (105 deg.) I guess we could have opened it to cool down a bit before getting in. All four of us, including my husband and my tween and teen kids. liked the house.

Relaxing, woodsy retreat

We loved everything about this house. It was cozy, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. The tall ceilings and large windows added beautiful lighting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and had plentiful storage. Each day, we had the added bonus of seeing a family of deer walk through the woods. We also Enjoyed all the games and activities the host provided, as well as the wonderful book selection upstairs.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This property was just what our family needed. It was a 30 second drive to Pier Cove Park with another beach access point just a mile down the road. We decided to stay in the area because it was in the middle of all the family-friendly areas (South Haven, Holland, Saugatuck, etc.). The chalet was immaculately clean with all the amenities as outlined. We spent a lot of our downtime on the porch, with serene views of the woods. The hot tub was a hit. The little touches were awesome - a small radio (there is a hardwired one as well), games for the kiddos, playing cards, Connect Four outside. There were other games and amenities available that we didn’t use because we were on the go. But I appreciate having options. The chalet / surrounding area was quiet / safe. Loved our trip and stay.
