Amber was very responsive and helpful. Stay was nice, neighborhood was quiet. Property was clean and well maintained.

This place was perfect for my 3 day trip to Ft. Lauderdale for a conference. Clean, easy check-in and close to downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

Gute Unterkunft mit ein paar Einschränkungen

Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr bemüht und man merkt, dass sie das Haus wohnlich machen möchte. Es war sauber, aber teilweise abgewohnt (im kleinen Bad ohne Fenster war am Waschtisch etwas abgebrochen, an manchen Jalousien waren Lamellen gebrochen). Was uns sehr gestört hat: das Verteilgerät der Klimaanlage war im begehbaren Schrank beim vorderen Schlafzimmer- es war extrem laut. Das hintere Schlafzimmer hat dafür wenig Kühle abbekommen, die Überzüge und Kissen waren nicht zu nutzen, da viel zu warm. (Plüsch Material) im 2.ten Schlafzimmer. gab es nur eine kleine Kommode aus Kunststoff, keine Kleiderhaken oder ähnliches zum Aufhängen/Aufbewahren. Es gab nur einen Kerzenständer, keine Nachttischlampen. Ein kleiner Stehtisch, leider nur 2 Barstühle. Es war relativ laut in den ersten Nächten. Alles in allem ist es evtl. eher für Pärchen geeignet, als für Familie mit kleinerem Kind. Zumindest ist das unsere subjektive Meinung. Wir haben uns einfach nicht so wohl gefühlt. Unsere Gastgeberin war aber sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Anbindung war gut, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch nah.

Hello Sue I reached out to you multiple times during your stay not one time did you mention any of what you said on review if you needed different covers that could of been arranged also guest please be mindful that you are staying in a home that others have also stayed in so if you see things that are in the home that are broken and not replaced yet that is because either the last guest broke them and things needed to be ordered or damage was done that could not be replaced that could only be fixed i as a host have hosted over 200 plus people….also once again if you decide to book my home and you look at my pictures of my home …..that is exactly what you are going to get….in the pictures there is a clear picture of the kitchen, and in the kitchen sits only two chairs and a round top table this is exactly what you are going to get if you don’t see it in the pictures please don’t expect it to magically appear thank you and also to future guest if your host is reaching out to you asking you how is your stay and you have concerns and they’re letting you know if you have any concerns or need anything “Please let them know” and you say everything is fine and you don’t state during your stay your concerns or what is wrong that is clearly unfair to then go write a review about things that could of been fixed or handled or explained to you …..the host who is trying to provide a service for you only wants to make your stay comfortable , so please don’t hesitate to speak up when things are concerning you.

Mediocre accomodations...

First off, Let me just say. We are from Fort Lauderdale, Born and Raised. We moved out of state last Summer. I wouldn't have never booked if we new it was off Sunset Strip in the hood. The area was listed as Sunrise. That area is actually Lauderhill FL. However, the owner is rude, my husband locked the bottom lock by accident. Which anyone in the right mind would want to do the same thing due to area with your belongings left inside .When we where leaving for the day. When we got back its 9pm. We contacted the owner to come unlock the door . We ended been stuck in the car for almost 2hrs until someone showed and opened the door to the house. She was literally going back and forth with me. I was so discussed, we rented property from you but you be combative. There no signs by the alarm or on the door saying Don't lock the bottom lock. But she has signs everywhere else about blinds, house rules etc.. She sent one email with the check-in about the door code with don't lock the bottom lock . No other time was it mention. We have a smart home in GA. She needs to have keyless lock for the bottom. So this is never a problem again. The back room was so hot we slept with no cover on the whole time. It was no fan in the room to have better circulation in the room. Also, it no dresser/ chester/night table stand or closet to put your items in. We had to live out of suitcase for 5 nights. The room my kids had a make shift closet with the air conditioner handler in. One bathroom for 4 people. Hard beds, base boards in the house was dirty. I would never stay here again. If you basic necessities , this place for you. But you get what you pay for. I should known by the price. You definitely get what you pay for mediocre accomodations.

It’s sad that you took one incident and created a bad situation out of it and left a bad review for someone who is stating I was rude. You messaged me saying come open the door now! Demanding instead of speaking like someone who has sense how rude is that …very ghetto! I should’ve known…First I left two messages with you stating not to not lock the bottom lock also I can see you don’t read because my first description of my home states that this is a cultural integrated neighborhood and the neighborhood is not in the hood at all it’s a neighborhood with primarily black residence and it’s a shame as a black person you called this neighborhood the hood this is a very family oriented neighborhood very quiet and this location is in sunrise not lauderhill also when you book my home there were plenty of pictures showing that this is a two bedroom one bath again this is where the issue lies because I can tell you don’t read, so I’m wondering why would you show up to a Home expecting another bathroom? Also, you stated that you lived out of your luggage for five days that’s what most people do when they’re on vacation also, there is a closet in one of the rooms like you stated once again, there are pictures they show every detail of my home I am curious as to why you would show up to a Home expecting more than what the pictures are depicting what you get in the pictures is what you’re going to get in real life. You stated that the beds were hard I have never had anybody say that my beds are hard to sleep on Sounds like more fabricated lies also, the WHOLE Home has central air. I set the air to 72 before your stay. This keeps the whole home cold more lies …My home was not dirty because guaranteed if you walked into a dirty house, you would have definitely left. Also, if the neighborhood was so hood, you would have not stayed your full five days. I’m glad that you wrote this review because it shows your integrity as a person, and I wish to never host you again.
