We are back! Virtually everything in the apartment is brand new -- be the first to experience our newly renovated space! This unit has been in our family for many years and we are lucky enough to carry on the tradition of offering up this beautiful place to make memories for your family.
THE DETAILS: This property rents for a minimum of one week (Saturday-Saturday) and is ideally suited for two people (although we do provide an air mattress for families with small children).
THE ENVIRONS: As the northernmost building on the island, Vacation Villas provides you with a secluded beachfront for your enjoyment while still only being a short one mile walk to "Times Square" -- the commercial heart of the island. A stay at Vacation Villas is outdoor living at its best: on the beach, at the pool, on your private lanai, or grilling in the common patio area, you will be surrounded by the sounds, smells and sights of the ocean. Sink your toes in the powdered sugar sand and you will never want to go anywhere else.
This end of the island is a relative sanctuary from the bustle and energy of Times Square. If you want to get away from the crowds, you have picked the right place on the island. Located next to Bowditch County Park on one side, and the luxurious Pink Shell Resort on the other, from the vantage point of our lanai you will be rewarded with the sights of both dolphins and children at play as well as the occasional sunset wedding. Our beach is a quiet, family friendly area where it is easy to enjoy the beauty of nature in relative seclusion. However, if on the off chance that you get bored with the natural beauty right outside your door, you can always make the short walk down the beach for endless recreational activities (e.g., parasailing, waterboarding, jet skiing, boating, fishing) and social experiences (e.g., eating, drinking, shopping).
THE SPACE: Our condo is comfortable without being fussy; modern, yet in harmony with the vibe of the beach. In addition, we provide everything you need to enjoy your stay: toiletries, cleaning supplies, staple pantry items and spices, beach chairs/towels/umbrella are all supplied. Just bring your swimsuit and sunscreen to enjoy your time at the beach!
GUEST ACCESS: All 637 square feet of our condominium are there for your private enjoyment. You will also have access to the building's shared pool, outdoor patio area, and private beach, all just steps from our front door.
PARKING: Please park only in the space marked for Unit 132. There are an additional five parking spaces available on a first come, first serve basis directly across the street from our parking lot. Look for the roped off area with signs indicating Vacation Villas parking.
Once here, if you don't want to deal with the issues of driving on a crowded barrier island, there is a trolley stop right next door at Bowditch Park -- catch a ride on this easy and convenient way to move up and down the island.
PRECAUTIONS: We love sharing our beachfront condo with guests who want to enjoy everything the Gulf Coast has to offer! However, please note that while our location is especially beautiful, it is also subject to the unpredictability of nature -- especially during Atlantic hurricane season (June-November). Since weather-related disruptions are outside of our control -- and we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or trip interruptions due to storms -- we strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. It's a simple way to protect your investment and enjoy your trip with a greater peace of mind.

Most importantly, set the A/C at 75 degrees before you leave the premises and lock the door.
Dispose of garbage in the hall trash chute and empty your recyclables in the yellow topped bins under the building.
Run the dishwasher, strip the beds, place the used towels in the tub and empty the cupboards and refrigerator of all perishable items that you bought during your stay.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
