Tranquility, Civil war park walk, and sauna

Located next to the Fredericksburg civil war park in very quiet and tree filled 2 acres land on a dead end street. You can take 5 minutes short walk to access the park and enjoy more than 10 miles of historical beautiful federal civil war park paths for biking or walking. Or you can just stay in the house and relax with the tranquility hearing bird songs, doing some outdoor cooking on the seasonal pool deck, relax in the sauna, and/or take a leisurely walk around the house on the circular drive way. Or you can visit charming historical Fredericksburg downtown, very walkable, filled with restaurants and shops, George Washington boyhood home, Kenmore (George Washington sister home), and/or Rappahannock river walking path. They are only 15 minutes’ drive away. One can enjoy commuter train day-trip to Washington DC. The train station is only 10 minutes away.

2. Guest need to provide firewood. They are available from Lowes nearby.
3. The sauna is open year around.
4. A hard copy of the rental agreement will be available in the house.
6. If the rental agreement document is not available for download or review in the house rule section as "rentalagreement.pdf", you can contact the host to get one. Sometimes it happens due to VRBO. But if you finish booking, you will get one in the confirmation email or message.

Meeting the newest member!

A jaunt to meet our newest member of our family. We were able to spend a few hours with him and with all of the family as well. Great location near DC and all the historical sites.

This is my second time staying here. I absolutely love this house for a quick and quiet vacation! Secluded without being completely alone. The house and pool area are clean and well maintained. The sauna is a great amenity most other vacation homes don’t have. Mr. Park is a great host and takes great care of his property. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

Serene experience in the woods

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay in this beautiful home! The area is great and it was so nice to be able to take walks in such gorgeous areas, right outside the home! The area was quiet and peaceful, the beds and furniture were comfy, the sauna was really amazing, and the host was excellent. We would definitely stay in this home again!

Lovely, quiet home convenient to Fredericksburg

We were in town for our son’s fencing tournament at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The property is only 20 minutes away from pretty much anywhere in town. The neighborhood is quiet and wooded, and the house is clean and spacious, with an abundance of helpful information from the owner. Highly recommend if staying in the area!

Wonderful place for a getaway

Had a great time at this property and in Fredericksburg. The location is away from the bustle but very close to downtown and practically on the battlefield. The house was immaculate and comfortable, the outside wall well outfitted and the bed was comfy. It was just the two of us however would be great for families

Summer getaway

House was so much bigger in person. Pool was fantastic and the house sits in a great location. Great brewery Strangeways Brewing near by. Owner was quick to respond and has everything you need including some snacks, water, and coffee. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Great home and host!

House was very clean and spacious, everything seemed new. Pool was big and private. Host thought of almost everything you may need. Location was quiet but a short drive from stores, restaurants and activities. Our two day stay was wonderful.
