Great hotel, great location

A lot of people were saying bad things about this hotel, but it turned out to be a really nice place. yes it's an older hotel, but it has everything you need, from a friendly front desk staff, to kitchen and refrigerator in each room. Good location within Fresno. Restaurants nearby. All in all my room was clean with all the amenities I needed, cable TV, a nice clean bathroom, firm bed. Carpet was a little bit dirty, but that was OK. I would return to this hotel again next time in Fresno. laundry room and vending machines also right on property. And even though it was right next to a busy road, it was pretty quiet.
Nice firm bed, lights, and plugs in the right next to the bed. Very clean.

Horrible

Horrible. I had to change rooms as the first room did not have a working A/C and the floors are so filthy. You would walk 3 minutes on the floors and the bottoms of your feet would be black. As I was changing rooms, the elevator broke, therefore I couldn’t get all my stuff downstairs for hours. The reason I stayed here was because I had surgery across the street and the hospital wanted me to stay close overnight. So, I was having to deal with all of that stuff in intense pain. The front desk would not give any reimbursement or compensate for my troubles. They had the audacity to say the room they moved me too was clean. Same as room 1, feet were black when I went barefoot.Please avoid this place!!

I had different rooms, and all had an issue 1the fridge didn’t work, and card for door wouldn’t open. Next stay no towels in room, manager gave me a discount for that. The third stay the toilet paper ran out, and at check out they had no grab and go granolas or cookies just coffee. Wood not be available till Thursday.

Staff was good and helpful and area is also good. Real challenge was related to cleanliness of room and smokers around the building and corridors and breakfast items were running out quite frequently even at 7 AM.

Filthy inside and out.

The place was grimy! Spider webs food splatter on kitchen walls and appliances, tv stand broken so the tv was slanted. You have to ask to get soaps, theres no in room coffee pot, light fixtures we visibly dirty, door didnt close properly, bathroom door didnt lock, no ice maker but icetrays in freezer that were dirty and cracked. Grab and go breakfast was granola bars and coffee.. friends stayed in the arwa for $10 more per night but had pool and gym access, clean rooms, and full breakfast and security on site. I felt very unsafe at this location.
